"Odd..." Lloyd said with a frown, as he scanned around himself, trying to figure out what was going on.

"Foolish humans who overstep your bounds..."

"Hey, big guy; how about you look in a mirror; if it hadn't been for you, this entire trip wouldn't have been necessary. But NOOOOO; you had to go and destroy our ship, and had to go and launch an asteroid at the planet." Lloyd said, growling slightly.
"And answer me this; what do you care about us leaving the planet; huh? Why do you want us to stay so badly you're willing to destroy the planet to do so?!"

"Humans were not meant to leave their world. All species that do so must be punished."

"Yeah? And you just get to randomly decide that people should not branch out? I don't agree with that. I think you're just a fraud, trying frantically to maintain what you perceive to be order, when the reality is that you're just an overgrown dictator, trying futilely to stop a rebellion that could destroy your 'rule'." Lloyd said with a growl, as a glow surrounded his mech, as he activated OverDrive.
"I won't let you do any harm to this planet, or it's inhabitants." Lloyd stated, as his eyes glowed, tapping into his full Soul Energy power to duel the OverDrive.

[The Truth]

"You wish for a demonstration of my power? Fine."

Before anyone could react, the Other fired a blast at Shiza's mech.
Shiza's scream echoed across the communication channel, then quickly fell silent.

Lloyd said nothing, but simply opened his eyes, which glowed even more brightly.
"... Big mistake." Lloyd stated, as his mech was enveloped in a radiant aura.
"You do NOT get to just go around attacking my friends! I don't care WHO you are! YOU WILL DIE!" Lloyd yelled out, obviously angered beyond belief there, as he drew his mech's sword, and burst off toward the Other.

OOC: It's a good thing you didn't aim for Rose. There wouldn't be anything left of the Other if that happened. =P

[The Truth]

OOC: Oh really?
IC:

The Other disappeared, appeared elsewhere, and fired again.


OOC:
This is a tricky part: choose a number between 1 and 8, as well as either "even" or "odd". (I meant "heads" or "tails", but I don't want to rewrite the spreadsheet...).

Each number is a character - Leo, Luna, Lloyd, Rose, Adrian, Jared. There is also a number for "miss" and a number for "Bounces back and hits the Other".
If your guess matches what I chose (For example, if I chose "odd" for Luna and you guessed both Luna and "odd"), the attack missed. (Unless it was "bounceback", in which case  it hits). Otherwise, that character is permadead. (unless it's Lloyd, then you get a second chance. If it's a different character I might give you a second chance.)

IC: Adrian was vaporised.

"You little..." Lloyd growled, his anger growing even more.
"I didn't like the guy all too much, I'll admit; but he was my friend still, and he saved us many times. That was no way for him to end up." Lloyd stated, as he quickly tracked The Other once more, and continued to fire off shots at him.

OOC: So does that mean that I keep choosing those numbers and someone may just end up safe? =P Or what? =P

[The Truth]

OOC: No, the Other only had the energy for two shots. You'll have to fight him normally now.

IC:
The Other teleported behind the Atherion and fired at its engines.

"Come back here, and fight, coward." Lloyd stated, as he began to send his Mech toward the outside of the Aetherion.

OOC: I hope that her sudden death actually had an impact on you.
I've been planning it since December. 

IC: The Other whirled around and blasted energy at Lloyd.


BOOC: And who knows, I might god-mode Adrian back at the end. Like a Force-Spirit or something.

OOC: I was shocked, and Lloyd's rather upset. To put it nicely. =P

Lloyd, however, was focused, and was definitely not about to let his revenge be taken down by a simple blast of energy. No; he canceled out the energy blast with a charged shot, and then growled.
"You messed with the wrong person." Lloyd growled, as he fired off a second blast, and then dashed forward, in an attempt to slash the being in half.

[The Truth]

The blade went right through the Other.


(Luna): "Wait...these readings...that's not really the Other! It's some sort of avatar!"

(Jared): "How can you sound so calm?!"

(Luna): "I've never shown emotions before, I won't now. Tears can wait."

"You really are a coward, then... Attacking people who can't fight back? What kind of a monster are you, anyway?!" Lloyd growled, obviously very mad still. That comment about the Other's current nature didn't help things.
