Peter stopped his pacing, and simply stared with a couple blinks, as Kaila was brought inside.
Wait, what? Peter thought, and shook his head, as he whipped out his Beam pistol, and ran for the door.
"No, no, no, no!" Peter called out, even though it was too late, and the door slammed as Peter ran up to it.
"Dang it!" Peter muttered, and slammed on the door to open it.
Remember. The eye socket. Peter thought, though he would wait until there was proof this was an android.
