I've played wii, PS3, Xbox 360, the kinect add-on, and played the 3DS for a bit. Honestly PS3 and Xbox still own the console world and I don't think they'll loose that title for a long time, Nintendo simply aren't in the right time at the moment. 3DS is a let down....

I don't really see how either the Wii or 3DS can be construed as being a failure. Sure, the 3DS isn't having the best of starts; but the Holiday rush, with all the good games of the year all releasing at once, is what will really determine what happens with the 3DS.

However, the Wii's definitely not a fail by any means, and I believe... *Looks at mass amounts of people buying Skyward Sword* Yep. Skyward Sword simply helped that. =P

If anything though, I believe everyone might be equal... Nintendo sold more consoles prior to everything getting announced this year; however, Microsoft had like a 2 year head start, along with... What was it... Two? Three entries of Halo? Combined with how many Call of Duties? However, there's also the online fee, so Sony might have taken it in that respect... But, they went and lost pretty much all credibility in that respect back in March, so... =P

Okay, yeah, that actually looks somewhat better, yeah. Still not exactly certain how it'll actually work without using touchscreens, but it's not bad, I must say. And this is also coming from someone who hates the Metro UI. =P
