MLNO Reboot Contest 1 -- Build A Mech

Welcome, one and all; to the first contest of the newly restored MLNO.

Your task? To build a Mech. The kind of mech that people pilot in different series, like anime or other such shows, or even Exo-Force. Kinda simply in theory, yes, however, this mech has to have some points of articulation; that is, it has to at least be able to move it's limbs, if it has any.

It's up to you what you want to build in terms of the type of Mech, but a bipedal mech or an animal(Not anime, animal. As in four legged)-styled mech tends to work out easier.

You can use any type of system to make your MOCs. You can use LDD or real bricks. If you use LDD, it doesn't matter what mode you have it in, though it's encouraged to attempt to use something that others can get if they want.

Rules: You must be able to move the Mech's limbs. If you can get a good looking Mech that doesn't have limbs, then that's fine as well. However, don't just have a turret as your Mech, that doesn't typically go well.

Try and include a place for your pilot to sit; you'd get more attention during the voting if you successfully pulled this off.

The submission period for the entries is June the 12th.

The prize is a grand total of 10 rep and a possible image award for the winner, and each participant receives 2 rep points each. You can enter more than one creation, however, please note that you will only receive the participation points once. Runner up prizes are yet to be decided.

The two human sets (the blue ones) are basically classic space sets, apart from the aliens. Which I love. Here:

Ooh, those could be pretty nice, yes. =O The uniforms look pretty cool too, they're designed similarly to the Exo Force 07/08 uniforms, aren't they? The Human ones, at least.

Yeah, I think they are. And for a change, the aliens are actually invading, whereas in most cases the humans have either invaded or been working with the aliens.

Yeah, a good change for once. =P Should be an interesting line. =) Though, I expect, if this takes off, for there to be actual mecha in the future. =P

I wish I did, but I don't. They're on pre-order right now, shipping in three days. Might get one, seeming as I actually haven't had a LEGO set in ages. I'd say almost a year perhaps.
