I've tried searching for your property the last couple of days, but haven't had any success.  Searching for "jungle," "tree," "house," and variations of the three only seem to bring up other players' "Tree House Fort," "Secret Treehouse," and "Jungle House," among others.  And the property doesn't come up on a manual search either -- I've gone through maybe 20 pages of property based on reputation (down to the single digits), and nada.

Any suggestions?  I'd really love to check it out...

The only thing I can suggest is to add you as a friend since the list is much smaller that way. I'm sorry on many levels I'm so incognito.

I'll try to add you periodically and maybe we can schedule a time. Also if any of our common friends see us both on maybe we can get a shout out.

That will definitely work, but you shouldn't HAVE to do it. LEGO needs to address this issue, it is NOT just your property that search does not work for.

It turns out that Intrepid's Chantey Shanty property was showing up as "pending approval"* for me, even though he hadn't done any recent work on it -- which is probably why it didn't turn up on general searches based on reputation that I'd done earlier, before we were on each other's friends lists.

I think LU automatically omits "pending approval" properties from general searches on the assumption that you can't visit them anyway, so why clutter up the search result?  If that's true, it might explain why I've had so much trouble finding other people's properties in the past, even though I knew the precise names of the properties.

Another guess -- I wonder if the foundation of the glitch is the fact that the game sometimes thinks all of a player's properties are "pending approval," so long as even one property is being approved.  So, if you're making changes to a property on Nimbus Isle, then the game characterizes your GF and FV properties as "pending approval" as well, ensuring that they don't come up on a general search, and appear blocked if they do come up on a friend's social list search result.

Whatever the reason, it's just one more property bug in a game that seems to be rife with them.  At least the bug that was frustrating me a few months ago -- models disappearing as soon as you set them down -- seems to have been fixed.

* Oddly, you can't say "pending approval" or "approval pending" or "pend approve" or any similar combination in LU chat -- not sure why.

@RBull: If the filter blocks something that you think should be allowed, send LEGO a ticket. They've added quite a few words/phrases to the whitelist based on my requests.

Intrepid: Could you post here when your prop does get approved?

There in lies the problem my friend; the property IS NOT pending approval according to the property kiosk where you pay your rent and edit the name and description it says approved in the lower right corner. This would be consistent with the fact that I haven't edited it.

...BUT I'm intrigued by RBull's theory of other pending properties causing problems because I have made changes on that fig's block yard, grove and nimbus rock properties.

I reported it in game and was emailed the tech support url to report it again so I'll see what I can find out.

Yup -- as of late last night, the "pending approval" problem was resolved, either on its own or because someone behind the scenes did something to fix it.

I was able to visit the tree house and loved it.  The layout of the house itself was very true-to-life to me -- I could readily envision a vacation house set up the same way, with deck chairs out back and a nice hot tub with a view.

Why thank you very much and don't forget to mail me in game your answer to how many trees are in my jungle for a free briefcase. The briefcase contest ends tonight at midnight. Also don't forget next weeks contest for the orange parrot.

Yay!!!  And I got it exact...!  Well, good to know I can still count, even when I'm sleepy from staying up too late!   Grin  Thanks so much, Intrepid!

I remember that. Good times.

I think more people would see the tree house if it wasn't on Chantey Shanty.

But it works so perfectly with the Chantey Shantey theme!

Hey, here's an idea--build a miniature treehouse "aquarium statue," and get Superstickboy to put it in the Tank of Wonder to advertize your property!  XD XD XD

That is a good idea! He and I have sort of kicked that around. I was going to put a clown fish on my property that would tell people to go check out 'the tank'. But I haven't been able to get them approved and from what crushinator says custom models that are traded can't pass on descriptions or behaviors so we sort of dropped the idea.
