This is where discussion about features like the Wii Shop Channel and the Nintendo eShop go.
Updates occur every Thursday at noon, for at least the North American region; I don't know about PAL or Japan's updates.
So, I was expecting Flipnote Memo to be released today.(I blame Wikipedia) No new 3DS native software. Simply Kirby's Dream Land(Which I can't get for lack of funds, and besides, I'd get Link's Adventure DX first. =P), and multiple DSiWare games.
In fact, I don't think I've seen any 3DS-exclusive titles yet... Just the Virtual Console stuff, DSiWare software titles, and the 3D trailers.
Well, Pokedex 3D's an obvious exception; but even that's in it's own category...
And speaking of categories; they seriously need to clean up the interface for the eShop. >_^ Coming fresh off the Wii Shop Channel, I expected an interface similar to that... Not multiple categories that shift every week and have everything strewn all over the place. =/

I imagine new people coming to the forum expecting to see discussion about LEGO, only to see RPGs full of deranged characters and insane people talking about cheese and brains.

I hate the eShop. It's like, come on, I just want to look at the Virtual Console! What's up with this train wreck of an interface!?
It's basically unusable.

I have to agree. I'm not sure what they were thinking of for the current layout, the Shop Channel shows they can make better interfaces.
But, who knows, maybe once stuff actually gets added to the eShop that's not just DSiWare and Virtual Console stuff, they'll revamp the layout.
I mean; I thought it'd be different options after seeing the 'screen' at E3, but apparently that wasn't an actual screen, but how they were listing everything.

I went to buy Donkey Kong but my account is TWO. CENTS. SHORT.

Yeah, I dislike how they switched over to real money. Might have been a good idea on paper, but there's this philosophy... It's called 'knowing how much currency you need to spend'.
I'm still getting Link's Awakening DX ASAP, simply because it's supposed to be awesome, and the only reason I was hesitating was because of Legends 3's Prototype Version. And given that outcome...
