Shrugging, she picks up some of the old drapery material and uses it to mop up the mess. "Well I, for one, would like a...reverse catalyst, for lack of a better term. Men are just not worth the trouble it takes to train them, and if you happen to get stuck on one...OW!" A single drop of blood wells up from where the broken glass had cut her. She wraps her hand and picks up the pieces more carefully. "...you're apt to get hurt," she finishes. She glances at the chronometer, then at her computer console. Something like resolution appears on her face, and in her spirit. "You should go. I...I have some planning to do."
As Etain rises and heads for the door, Jennifer stops her. "Wait!" She hesitates. "Don't tell Counsellor Riker about this, that I was this upset, OK? The last thing I need is for the captain to get word of this and keep me off duty."
