Elaine walked through the ship, as she thought about the different things that had happened over the last day or so.
So in the course of a day, the lounge is the scene of a barfight, and something happens to cause a red alert. Wow. I think this might be a very... Intriguing ship. Elaine mused in her thoughts with a slight chuckle.

Midori chose that moment to step out of the storage closet, crashing into Elaine.
"Sorry..."

"Well, I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you," Guinan said jokingly.  "All jokes aside, let's wait for a better time, when there aren't quite so many people around.  I can't give my secrets to just anyone, you know."  She grins.

"It's okay." Elaine said with a chuckle, and paused.
"What were you doing in a storage closet?"

"Guinan left me in there during the Red Alert so I wouldn't get trampled."  She made a face.  "I could have taken 'em.  Anyway, I'm Midori.  You are?"

"My name's Elaine." The girl said with a smile, as she extended her hand for a handshake.
"And I see now." Elaine said as she nodded, and paused.
"I hear they found the cause for the Red Alert." Elaine commented casually.

"I bet it had something to do with--" Midori began, but just then, Rakoua arrived.  "Oh, hi.  Uhh...have we met before?"

"I doubt it."

"Hi there." Elaine said with a polite smile, and turned back to Midori.
"Had to do with what?" Elaine asked, curious.

"Had to do with that crazy Sulu guy who brought us up here."  She quickly recounted the events of the shuttle flight.  "I'm Midori, by the way," she said to Rakoua.

"I'm Rakoua." I said.

"I'm Elaine." Elaine said with a nod, and nodded at Midori's story.
"I see. That doesn't sound good." Elaine said with a frown.
"I heard a rumour just now that multiple people were involved, though." Elaine said with a shrug.

I went to the Arboretum.

"Oh.  Hello there.  We're just getting set up, do you want to help?"

"Most likely.  I wonder though...the computer announced the alarm, which means some kind of automatic trigger put it in place.  I wonder if there's something wrong with the ship...hey, want to snoop around Engineering, see what we can find out?"

IC (Rakoua):
"Alright. What do you need help with?"

"Sure." Elaine said with a smile, as she nodded, and started to walk toward the engineering section.

OOC: Lemme take a guess at what it's like:

Wet, electrically sparking, wires everywhere, and holes in pretty much all the walls? =P

--Engineering--
Elaine and Midori stepped from the turbolift, and were immediately greeted by ensigns with mops and towels running back and forth from the nearest replicator.  The reason became obvious when they entered the main section: the floor was soaked, and the engineers were valiantly trying to prevent any water from getting into critical systems.  Even though Sulu's impromptu replicator setup had been dismantled, there was still a lot of water in the tube; someone had likely reactivated it for several more seconds during the process of taking it down.  In light of all the chaos, Midori did the only sensible thing she could think of: she swiped a phaser from one of the security ensigns rushing about with towels, set it to its lowest possible setting and in a fan blast, and began vaporizing the water.
"Towels, men?  Really? This is the 2500s, people."
But everyone was too busy to respond.  Meanwhile, an open panel sparked at Elaine's shoulder.

--Arboretum--
"Here, plant these Keldorian glowtree saplings in planter 16-B.  Be sure you turn on the forcefield separations at half a meeter, we don't want these growing too deep since we'll have to transplant them in six months anyway."

Elaine looked to her right at the panel, and frowned, as she stepped away from it slightly.
"Hmm. Well, it looks like the rumour that whoever did this was somehow involved with water was correct." Elaine commented as she walked forward, trying to see what other damage there was.
