Midori looked up from her drawing.  Drawing kept her calm.  It soother her.  It reminded her that whatever was going on in the universe, there was always something she could come back to, something of her own that no one else could take from her.  "You're lucky I'm just sitting in here drawing.  What if one of us was changing or something?  You know there's a little thing on the door called the chime?  Or better yet, that thing on your chest that lets you talk to anyone on the ship?  Next time try using one of those before you come bursting into a girl's room.  Now, get out and try again," she said in a voice that was perfectly calm and level and yet biting as ever.
