The room was empty.

There was a grinding sound, but since the wall had collapsed, pressing the tile did nothing.

(Joshua): "The Firewall also monitors everything you do."

"But it doesn't actively scan your files, correct?"  Nancy kept most of her important files at home, mostly on paper, but she had a few recent case files and personal photos she hadn't erased yet.  Nothing she couldn't get back later, but she didn't want them in the hands of the killer, either.  Of course, now that her cover had been blown, there really wasn't anything to hide, but she preferred not to take chances.  At least, not with a killer on the loose.

"Hey, I just looked around in there.  The place is empty.  Why build a hidden room if you're not going to put anything in it?"

"I found the trigger that would have opened this up, if we hadn't broken in.  You guys find anything?"

"Darn.  I was hoping for at least some clue."
"Well, we could always head outside, see if the bomb in Joshua's pillow a few days ago matches the one they used in the computer lab."
"Why is that important?"
"Two different bombs means two different sources--and likely two different killers.  I mean, it's possible one person has access to several different types of explosives, but it would take a lot of expertise and work to set them up that way, especially if they wanted to use bombs in more than one murder.  Considering how much else they've been up to--the spiders, the poison gas, the food machine--I don't think they would have had time to develop more than a couple of simple variations on the same design."

"Well, I'm not one to argue with the resident explosives expert.  Let's go."

"Actually I think we'd better get back to the computer lab."

OOC: If you want, we can split the party further, but Bess and George are mostly phone contact characters in the games. Ned, too, but I think he's going to be a bit more active this time around, since Nancy's been directly attacked twice now.

"Wait; one sec. I've got an idea..." Tomas said, as he pulled out two folding pieces from a case, and quickly attached them.
"I've got a folding laptop, a newer concept... I think this might help... Let's swap contacts so we have a way of keeping in touch if anything happens."
