"You're too sure of yourself. This plan will never work. See, you just did exactly what I expected you to. You gloated. Your ally and yourself will eventually turn against each other; but the biggest thing is that you talk to much." Rhea stated calmly, as he attempted to draw casting energy into himself from the surrounding atmosphere, to try and get out of the predicament he was in, subtly.

[The Truth]

Seliroth laughed, and...began to play her harp. Oddly, it sounded like an electric guitar.

"Hah! You think you're a match for ME? Let me tell you something, boy...You're out of your league."
*sings*
"You're out of your league my dear, facing things out of your greatest fears, you may try and fight but I'll win the night, you can try to run, give me some fun, you're out of your league.
I am evil cruel and heartless (to be frank, I'm a *****), mess with me and they'll find your battered body in a road - side - ditch! You're out of your league."

Rhea found himself lifted into the air by invisible chains, as the shadows began to dance and bright lights flashed about the room.

"You think you're tough you little ant, you'll try to fight but ya really can't, your blows are light and your mind is weak, look at me and be blinded by my light, you worthless! Little! Flea! You're out! Of! Your! Leeaaaagueee!"

The lights went out, and Seliroth was gone, leaving Rhea's ears ringing.

"You okay?" Rhea asked; not necessarily meaning what it usually meant, but more her spirit and the sheer fact that she was alive still. Whether Maria herself was doing alright.

"I'm hanging upside down because my psycho devil mother chained me to a wall, with my girlfriend, Quincy, and two complete strangers chained to other parts of the wall. I'm doing GREAT."

"... Upside down? Is she crazy? Wait, don't answer that, we both know the answer." Rhea said, as he thought for a moment.
"Any idea of what the chains are like?" Rhea asked, as he closed his eyes, still contemplating his plan.

"Metal. And they're pinchy."

(Zeil): *Cracks whip* "Sorry, Dusk-boy, but I'm gonna have to stop you right there."
(Dusk): *adjusts glasses* "And I'm afraid you've caught me in a rather bad mood. As such, I will not spare you."

"Well then. My plan might just work after all..." Rhea said, as he concentrated more on gathering the heat from the metal in the chains.
If this works, it'll probably be painful for a little while... But it should work to destroy the chains and set us free. Right now, that's all we can ask for.

(Maria): "Is...is it getting hot in here?"

Dusk dodged away from Zeil's whip, kicked her in the face, and removed a small lighter from his pocket. "Tell me, Zeil...do you know what powers Casts? Ambient heat energy." With that, he hurled the lighter into a tapestry on the wall. In instants, the room was ablaze.

"Why do I have this feeling someone just did something very stupid!?" Rhea growled, as he concentrated further.
"Everyone; focus on removing or absorbing the heat from these chains. We'll probably regret this soon, but it's more or less all or nothing now; gotta hope this works."

[The Truth]

(Maria): "Um, I'm the only one awake."

(Zeil): ****, he's too strong...he tore my whip in two without even moving...I need to get out of here and warn Sai.
Zeil tried to move, only to find her feet encased in Cast energy. an instant later, more Cast energy grabbed her arms and forced her body into a T-shape, hovering in the air. She opened her mouth to speak, only to be gagged by another Cast.

(Dusk): "I suppose I could offer you a chance to switch sides. I imagine you'd even accept, maybe help us kill your former leaders. But frankly, I haven't the time. Goodbye, Zeil."

Two giant Crosses of Cast energy appeared on either side of Zeil, and moved quickly together.


Dusk adjusted his glasses, flicked a bit of Zeil off his arm, and exited the room. "So much to do, so little time..."

OOC: He ever acting truly heroish? I always saw him as anti-hero mentor type. =P That said, I've already guessed things, I'm just watching amused. =P

Rhea focused, and sent a tiny bit of cast energy at Lily's shoulder.
"Yo, wake up; we need you." Rhea said, before doing the same thing to the others; not enough to truly hurt, but enough to make them realize 'OH HEY WE'RE IN A LIFE THREATENING SITUATION!!' and wake up.
"Everyone who's awake and is staying awake, focus on drawing in the cast energy, we don't have much time." Rhea stated, feeling the bonds grow colder by the second.

OOC: Oh? I'm curious what your guess is...

Kinda sad about killing Zeil, I had plans for her, but I couldn't resist having Dusk slaughter her.

IC:
(Maria): "I think I hear them breaking! Either that, or I'm about to pass out."

"Then good; release all that energy into the chains at once." Rhea stated, as he did so himself; hoping for the best in the temperature change breaking.

OOC: Yeah, yeah, it's supposed to be the reverse, but we're not cold energy wielders. =P

The chains cracked and they all fell to the floor...just as Lord Genisus entered the room.

"Huh?" Rhea asked, as he looked up to see Genisus and then smiled.
"Perfect timing. Let's go finish what we started." Rhea said, as he stood up, though... Something suddenly seemed off in his head; though he had no clue what.
What was he doing there...? suddenly rang through Rhea's head, and Rhea blinked. Why had Genisus shown up back at Area 51? And if Genisus had been there, then why...

"Indeed, it is time we bring and end to the Devils. Are all of you feeling up to walking?"

"Maybe..." Rhea said, a frown on his face still.
Why are we here, if Genisus was there? Rhea thought, and looked at Genisus then.
"How did we get here?" Rhea asked, as that one question kept ringing through his mind.
