Just reading the Skopio review at BZP (since none of my local toystores eem to carry Skopio yet (TRU doesn't even KNOW when they're getting the summmer wave of sets !?!)) and I realised a bunch of things:
-Telluris' build is much better than I'd thought(at first he looked cool, but looked like a downgraded Bitil). But his arms are cool, he actually uses the side holes on the ironman head, and the Life Counter for the UBERCOOLATCIONFIGUREGAME can fit on him.
-Skopio's back can open up
-Skopio's jaws open and snap back closed
-Skopio's legs are all identical(I was pretty sure about this, but now it's true)
-In tank form he can TURN (like Cendox)
-In tank form he can also travel sideways (which is pretty cool too).

So, other than confirmation that the legs are identical, this makes Skopio even better (now that he can turn he is everything Cendox ever wanted)...
So come on TRU, get Skopio in stock or I'll have to form over $15 for shipping and handling to get him from Lego S@H...

After reading a bunch of Baranus reviews I am more inclined to get it... since they like it... but I still don't like the fact that it probably uses a Piraka Torso underneath the armour...

Searched them up, can't remember where exactly I read them. I know BZP is one of the places.
Also, just had a browse at the instructions of the Baranus through customer service and the Spkit actually doesn't use any torso at all...

Cards would be somewhat cool, but, like the movie, I don't see myself buying them. With my luck I'd get a pack full of Kiina, which I don't want.

And, I don't plan on getting MNT, because he's way to pricy, and the head looks awful. Overall, MNT is a revamp of Taka08, but porly done. Where Taka had a well designed Torso, Arms, Legs and a well fitting head, MNT has an awful Torso, disastrous head placement, and some wannabe Taka Arms which fail, due to the lack of upper arm armour.
On a positive note, the legs look sturdy, and the left hand weapon(thornax megalauncher) looks somewhat good(although oversized).

If someone had to choose between Baranus or TMN, I'd say Baranus. At least the Spikit looks better in person.

I would also choose Baranus(although MNT looks like a more interesting built, that comes with better pieces(the scarab shields, gold Ignika, 6 Pistons)).
Sometimes I think I'd choose Baranus over Kaxium, simply because Kaxium looks bland now, as well as kinda blocky and boring.

But Skopio still owns all Grin

My opinions of the sets have changed now, especially after having been able to take a quick peek at their building interiors.

1. Cendox/Skopio (both very solid)
2.Thornatus/Baranus (they do have their flaw, IE: Thornatus has  some holes but is still good, Baranus' spikit is interesting but the Baraus has holes all over it)
3. Kaxium (Loads of holes, kinda blocky but looks good with pilots in it)

Though none are bad, I've also noticed how Baranus and Kaxium are the first vehicles to come with more than two parts to it (before it was pilot and vehicle. For Baranus, it's Creature, vehicle and Pilot, and for Kaxium it's Pilot, Pilot, Vehicle, Vehicle.

4. The GLs
5. MCToran
6. MNT Tongue

Cendox and Skopio both look quite solid. And while looking at pictures of Thornatus it does seem a bit lacking in bulk, especially the front. The back looks solid, but I still don't know why it has 4 blasters on the back. And the scope in front of Perditus seems reduntant, as there's nothing to aim with(the Thornax on top cannot possibly be aimed through the scope...)

Baranus as a whole looks jumbled, but together it somehow doesn't look so bad.

Kaxium only looks good when the agori are in it, and when joined. It also looks like it will only stand when it's in one piece, rather than two...

The scope would be there to uh... aim when it's ramming something Tongue

Also, the Thornatus does do a good job of looking old and rickety, which is fitting considering it was from before the war...

Without the 4 Blasters, the thornatus would look... wrong, for lack of better words. It solidifies it well.

Kaxium can 'stand' when split, because of the sizes of the oversized wheels.

Baranus' 'standing' point is littered with holes for rods to go through, allowed Sahmad to have a wide range of poses while in the Baranus itself. Also the colours work together better IRL because ofthe fact that the Gunmetal is there to represent Black. Without the Chariot, the Spikit still seems quite good, even with it, it's because of the fact that the Baranus V7 set comes in total with:

Orange
Black
Grey
Silver
Light Grey
Gunmetal
Metru Green
Lime Green
Gold (thornax)

All on the different parts of that, cuz there's three parts, one in each of Baranus' 3 bags.

New BTS up. IMO, not very good. I would have preferred something like a 'voicing the movie 2'.

The Thornatus does look rickety, and the 4 blasters do make it look good, but having 4 blasters is also wierd. Also, howcomethere is never more than 1 Thornax Launcher per set?

Oh, yeah, Kaxium has fat wheels...

Baranus has so many colours because of the 3 parts(I think thats what you said). But still, more green on the spikit would be cool, and a better colour scheme than Black and Gunmetal for the chariot would be good too. Sahmad looks solid, except for the oversized weapon.

Many people do not like the Mata Red/Metru Red combination on Skopio, but I think it looks good, although it could use more Metru Red, since it is a mix...

1. Thornatus' 4 blsters is probably because it looks like the most widely used one on bara Magna. We've seen Perdutis', Metus and Kiina drive one. and none of the others. That means it has some importance.

2. Yes, it does. It's also one of two vehicles not being able to turn, the other being Thornatus.

3. Having recolored Kalmah feet in Lime green... and having the Vahki Hip in Lime green, plus a Piraka Claw Foot that has a mix of Lime and Green would go nicely. Baranus, due to being pulled by a spikit rather than being one big vehicle, can turn also. That's three/5 vehicles that can turn...

4.Personally, I wish it was the other way around,. More Recolours that way. Metru Red Vehicle Plates, mata Red Hahnah Crab body...

1. It does look like the most used. Probably because everyone can fit on(Glatorian and Agori), whereas Kaxium, Cendox and Baranus fit only Agori.

2. Well, not have an actual bending part, but by driving it  I'm sure leaning left/right will make them turn.

3.Yes. That would be good. But the thing I don't like about Baranus is the vehicle playability that works with the storyline. It would be hard to turn the entire set(the Spikit, chains and chariot) all at once, and removing the spikit removes its power source to move(storywise).

4. Hmm. that would be interesting(and they could also change Telluris' lower arms to keetorange to match the rest of him(or add more yellow pieces to him, so that he's not monocoloured)).

And the new BTS is kinda boring. I never imagined Greg looking like that tho(it was kinda weird seeing him for the first time. Hopefully the next movie is a voice thing or a preview(of Skopio in action?)

Wrong there. Sahmad uses the Metru Feet to connect onto the Pins sticking out, so pretty much any Glatorian/agori could fit in as long as they have a o-rod connector on their feet.
Kaxium And Cendox fit Agori, Thornatus and Baranus can fit both Agori and Glatorian, and I'm not sure about Skopio.

Well, a Glatorian/Toa sized set may fit their feet, but IMO it would look odd to have someone that tall standing there...And with a Glatorian standing there they wouldn't have as much of their body protected...

I think Skopio can fit most sets, but only Telluris looks like he'd really fit properly. The way his arms are built, as well as his body make it a unique spot to fit in. Bitil might manage(if you took his wings off and took the weapons and upper leg armour off(when I get Skopio I may see how Bitil fits).

I'm going to see whio could possibly fit in each vehicle based on their connections:

Cendox:
Crotesius
Metus

Yep, Only two. It has to be a hunched Agori with thing arms and legs.

Kaxium V3:
As long as they have the non-hunched Body , they fit (for Agori)

baranus V7: Pretty much anyone with Metru/Inika/Clawed Piraka/Mantax/Hordika Feet.

Thornatus: Pretty much anyone. Can fit Agori and Glatorian.

Skopio: Designed for Telluris, so that his odd arms can be accomadated to fit the Vehicle.
