"Actually, he just has to not crash into stuff. He somehow has a way of attracting trouble, so that's too much to ask." Kazuki said with a slight grin.

"Nah. Right now I have something to show you, as I believe my engineers have finished it while we've been fighting." Kazuki said, and started walking towards the labs, Kaze and the others following.

Seeing as Kaze was blinded, Kenji took upon himself the liberty of telling him where to go. At the moment, they were walking down a straight hallway. "...And we turn left here, Kaze," he said.

Kaze turned left, running into a wall. Kenji couldn't help but smile.

"... Ouch." Kaze said, and then turned in the direction of Kenji, and facepalmed.
After a while of walking, they finally got to the labs.
"While we were training, I had the lab techs analyze the PDHs and the glove Kaze brought back to see if there was any way they could remake it and upgrade it... And they succeeded. This is called the C.O.D.E.X, or the Chosen One Data Energy eXtender." Kazuki said, handing the C.O.D.E.X. handhelds to everyone. It was an arm-mounted device that acted like the PDH, except it was also attached to a glove like the one Kaze brought back.
"That glove has a special ability... Apparently it powers up Ki blasts by a bit. Anyway, onto our second thing... Based off the remaining armour I had from the Alt Dimension, and the Armour that Kaze found and brought back, we have recreated it and upgraded the original armour with a few new features. First, the colour draws off your inner Ki. But, to get a special customized look, you have to use Ki Armour On. Second, it has a new phrase to use, based off the new ID Scanner that it has over the touch screen. The phrase is based off the type of Armour on you're using, 'ID Scan Complete!', and 'Activate!' Plus, you'll need these cards." Kazuki said, and handed the group a card.
"This'll activate the ID Scanner. Just slide it through the Card reader, and then hold it over the touch screen. It'll dissolve into Ki as you activate your Armour, and it'll confirm your ID as yourself. Third, there's a new 'Cross Out' system. If you're hit by an ally's Ki blasts while in your Armour, then you can Cross Out with their Ki data, and gain a fusion of their Ki Armour form and your Ki Armour form. This has a different phrase, and must be activated while you're already in your Armour, 'Cross Out!' And then your name, 'Cross,' and the name of the person you want to have on the other end of the Cross Out. You can use either your real name or your alternate name. For example, for Kaze, it's 'Blade cross Steven' for a Cross Out with Kenji. Fourth, and probably finally, certain aspects of the Armour, like the visor, have been upgraded. If I've forgotten anything, the techs will remind me later, or you'll find out yourselves later." Kazuki said, as Kaze nodded, and put the C.O.D.E.X. on, and the card in his pocket.

Kenji took the contraption handed to him. "So the entirety of the armor is now here, huh? Is the armor itself any different that before? Weapon and ability-wise, that is."

"The strength enhancements and speed enhancements are slightly increased, but they're by person now, so what traits you have could differ from what Kai has, for instance... And again, to gain the customized one, or what you originally had, you have to use Ki Armour On." Kazuki said, which was strange as Kai was the only one he hadn't given a CODEX to...

"Is that so..." Kenji said. His pocket vibrated just then. He checked it, noting a familiar name. He answered. "Hello. Yes. Ok. Be there in a bit. Bye." He looked around, everybody giving him a funny look. "Just a friend," he said. "Anything else, Kazuki?"

"No, I don't think so. You guys all will probably want to train now, to get used to it, and finish off the training that got interrupted." Kazuki said, and sat down, sighing.

Novia examined the glove device given to her, and put it on. It was a good fit on her hand, to her surprise. She then put her card in her pocket, and took a quick stretch to get ready for the next training.
