IC: Having delivered his message, X-2 hung up, and then dialed another number. "Everything according to plan, Supreme Leader."

"London.  Hopefully.  If we were attacked here, though, I fear we may not be the only ones targetted...keep your guard up."

==Regulus' Warehouse==
The creature slithers back, and in the increased light you can see a creature that appears to be the entire nervous system of a human...with no body around it.  Three more of the creatures appear from the shadows.

Regulus curses in Demotic.  "******, power goes out for five minutes and THIS happens...Guess that's what I get for keeping my electrician contractors in the dark about what they're doing..."  Just then, a trio of tomatoes comes flying out of the darkness at supersonic speed.  Regulus barely ducks in time, and the tomatoes smash into a steel crate, punching several holes in it.  Small, furred, rodent-like creatures, approximately 20cm in height when fully upright, with wicked-sharp 15cm claws on both front paws start pouring from the crate and swiping at the pair's legs.  The nerve-creatures start circling Regulus and Tyler...

"****.  504, 625, 1027 are all out.  If the Federation has let those things go through another containment breach into my facility..."  Just then, Regulus' face goes white.  "Oh. ****.  If 173 is in here..."

"Tyler, listen.  Stay calm, don't let 1027 touch you, keep your ankles out of 625's range, and whatever you do, don't pun."  Regulus fumbles inside his jacket for something.  "I have to find out if 173 is loose, if it is, we're ******."

As Regulus speaks, the creatures slowly back the two symbiotic hybrids toward another stack of crates.  There is a small stone disk with odd carvings to their left, loosely affixed to a very large mirror next to them...

Tyler put a torrent of fire on the nerve creature and hacked at the rodent

"that's pretty close to Infinitus HQ" she muttered in kaze's ear.

==Regulus' Warehouse==
The nerve creature crumbles to dust, and the rodents shy away from the light, but the burst is not long enough to render them docile.  Both the remaining nerve creatures and the rodents start cautiously approaching and switching their attack pattern, and Tyler sees several of them licking their claws and coating them in saliva...upon seeing this, Regulus reaches up and starts to climb onto the boxes, but he can't seem to get a handhold.  Tyler is right next to the mirror now...

OOC: Stupidity Is The Only Option, I'm afraid.

Tyler simply let out an inferno, torching the nerve creatures and the rodents. "is that.... ketchup?"

OOC: "That's what we'll be, if they catch up to us. >_>" <- Kai'd likely say that one, ironically. =P

Omega raised an eyebrow, but nodded.
"Alright then, we should probably get going sooner, rather than later.

"hope i didn't hit a raw nerve" Tyler chuckled at the crispy brain on the floor, sincerely hoping for something unexpected to happen.

OOC: I believe you messed up a name again. =P

And I kinda don't have anything to post until the others involved post. =P

==Regulus' Warehouse==
Another tomato whizzes at Tyler at lethal velocity, but at the last possible moment it misses, hitting the mirror and knocking the stone disk off of it.  Tyler instinctively catches it before it can hit the ground, and it begins to glow yellow.

One of the rodents manages to slice Regulus' leg, and he yells and kicks it away.  He stumbles into Tyler, causing him to touch the stone back to the mirror.  Both fall through the mirror, and several of the rodents as well as two of the nerve-creatures make it through before the mirror loses its balance and shatters into a million pieces.  With more room to move, Regulus starts limping through the hallways of the eerily deserted office building at top speed, motioning for Tyler to follow.  "I don't know exactly where we are, but you had better NOT lose that disc..."

OOC: We need to find a mirror.  The nearest intact one is halfway across a city of uspeakable horrors.  And we're being chased by other unspeakable things.  Enjoy.

OOC: It's not REAL fire, it's fake fire that prevents all oxidation in things it touches.  There's a difference.

It needs to be a glass mirror.  Imagine a world after a suzzessful zombie apocalypse, but the zombies are all missing as well.

Omega looked at everyone else.
"Hello? How are we getting elsewhere, anyway, the vans?" Omega asked, noting the scorch mark and slightly melted metal on the van that Daniel and Carter had taken.

==General Carter==
"Don't be daft.  We're near the airport, we'll take one of our planes."  He frowned.  "This is a generic Royal Marines plane, not Lord Regulus' private jet, so the flight will be slower, and I can't be completely sure of its safety.  But it's the only option we have, I'm not waiting another 14 hours before we can get Lord Regulus' jet ready.  Major, make the preparations and lead the way."


==Airplane==
Once aboard the plane, Carter insisted on sitting in the cockpit with the pilot, in case anyone got any funny ideas.  Alexa, of course, had protested, and to his surprise he obliged her and let her join him.  Now, in the air, Carter had little to do while the plane crossed the Atlantic.  He studied Alexa, a strange expression on his face.  She seemed...familiar...and yet he couldn't place her.  With the exception of being far too young for him, she almost seemed his type...but that was rediculous.  She was REALLY too young for him, and besides, he had sworn off romance long ago, after...what?  Why did he decide to do that?  While he pondered this, he noticed Alexa staring rather intently back at him, and asked, "Can I help you?"

OOC: ... Wait, is Carter a Symbiote too?

Omega sighed, a scowl on his face, as he sat back in the cheap seats, and shook his head.
"Honestly, she could've at least invited me up there too..." Omega muttered, a little annoyed at being stuck back there, but shrugged, as he sighed once more, and looked out the window.
What's going on here, anyway? Is that Symbiote sighting related to Infinitus? Or something else?

OOC: Carter is not.  He's close friends with one and doesn't know it, though, so his military protocols are rather Symbiote-esque without him realizing it.

"you don't remember me at all, do you?" Alexa eventually said.

"... ... ...No.  No I do not."  He has an awkward feeling, and immediately pulls out a small black book.  "Er--should I?" he asks, flipping through the (admittedly few) pages to see if she was perhaps a bit older than she looked.  If she's in here, I will never drink again.

OOC: She's not, and neither is "she."
