In the meantime, the ambulance that was transporting the survivor exploded and seemingly killed everybody inside...

OOC:

Get ready for one of the most 'what did I just read' things so far...

IC:

Seth marched in line on a walkway suspended above many conveyor belts, with several other 'voluntary' prisoners, those that had surrendered. Whatever was happening, it felt like it was out of a cartoon. Why were they up this high, anyway? What exactly was going on? Asides from the forced implementation of Euron implants, it seemed... Seth then had the not-so-bright idea to whisper to the prisoner, a short, young female, who was behind him, about a plan.

"Do you think you could stall?"

Despite being surrounded by many 'drones', the prisoner stalled. Then, completely unprecedented, she fell off the walkway, down onto the conveyor belts below. What were presumably the thuds of her body hitting the various conveyor belts, and then, a grinding noise.

 Somehow, that was enough to create a spark of hope in several of the prisoners a few minutes later, who were not handcuffed, which was oversight #1 for the drones, and still had any weapons they had when they were captured, which was oversight #2 for the drones. A firefight erupted. A very, very small glimpse of hope, created.

Seth decided that it was time to get out of there, using the commotion as a chance to escape. He ran, finding a fire exit, and then preceded to jump into the swimming pool conveniently located next to the factory, action-movie style, as several gunshots were heard. If he could find a vehicle, he could get to a more ordinary place... although with what was about to happen, the rest of his trip was going to be anything but ordinary.

He then spotted a brand-new, shining motorcycle that looked as if it had came straight out of the factory. It would be decent enough, although he would probably have to self-drive it to be as safe as possible. He booted it up, hopped on it, and then got very unsettled as the motorcycle spoke the words "Hey, watch it!"

What the ####? A talking motorcycle?! Seth thought in his head.

"Listen, Ms.AI, you may be advanced, but you need to be disabled." Seth said, bemused at the talking motorcycle.

"I am no AI, you dork! I'm a person!" it yelled back.

"...Okay, listen, DEFECTIVE AI, you're going off."

"I'm a person, I can't be turned off. My mind is now the 'AI' for a motorcycle. "

"...I don't even.. what... this doesn't make any... okay fine I give up, I'm not going to waste my precious escape arguing with a person's mind stuck inside a motorcycle. Happy now? Now take me somewhere far away from this place. "

The motorcycle obliged, since Seth had seemingly accepted its partial humanity. Still, Seth has no idea what's happening and never, ever thought he would be talking to a 'human' motorcycle. It was going to be long ride, partially because the motorcycle started flirting with him soon after they left. The many looks on Seth's face as he was trying to respond to a motorcycle flirting with him could not be recorded, unfortunately.

IC:
A person walked up to the remains of the ambulance and found the body of the survivor, which was miraculously still somewhat alive.

[mtmerrick]

A plasma blast rocked the back of Matt's car, followed by another, and another.  The occupants could barely see flashes of blue, white, and orange out the rear window, but cannot see the source as the policeman is still in the way.

Matt hit a button and the car went to autopilot. His arm cannon popped out and he fired at the police officer.

[Rakoua]

IC:
The person took some sort of drill from his pocket and started to drill into the survivor's skull.
"Hmm, this technology is tougher then I thought." He said, referring to the survival of the plane crash.

[mtmerrick]

The police officer's shoulder looked badly burned, but he still hung on.

[Rakoua]

IC:
He extracted some sort of pink substance from the survivor's skull and then took a gun from his other pocket. He then killed him, once and for all.

[mtmerrick]

IC: "any ideas guys?"

OOC: huh. i thought that survivor was going to be you... *notbadfacce*

[Rakoua]

OOC: That's complicated =P
IC: He then left from the area, with the drill and substance in his pockets. He was searching for someone who would know a lot about neural cybernetics. He was lucky that there was someone like that in the city that day...

Virunk once again stabbed out at the police officer, but turned around, just in time.
"JUMP!" Virunk said, as he noticed that due to all the attacks, the auto-pilot had been thrown off just enough that they were now headed toward a building. Very quickly. Taking off the seatbelt, Virunk opened the door, and then jumped out quickly; hitting the ground hard, and rolling to a stop with a groan.
"Note to self, never jump out of a speeding car..." Virunk muttered, as he staggered to his feet, and looked around to see what had happened.

[Rakoua]

IC:
Several minutes later, the person broke into a large government laboratory and blew everything up except for one scientist. He knocked him unconscious and took him away to a helicopter that was waiting for him on the roof.

[Flipz]

Virnuk, having jumped clear, can now see a large glider-like vehicle, with white and blue lines running along it, circling the area.  The glider now switches tactics, sending down a rain of fire to bracket the area and keep anyone from entering or leaving.

Virunk, with a frown, noticed the glider and fire, and gripped his sword, wondering what was going on here now.

[Rakoua]

IC (Rakoua):
In the meantime, a pale-skinned man was in the area where Virnuk and Matt were, and started shooting at the people who were attacking them.

Matt grabbed Kira and they jumped out as well. A split second after they left, the car smashed into the wall.
"Are you OK?" Matt asked
" Think so..." Kira responded, and closed her eyes. "Yeah" she said, having run a quick diagnostic.
They locked eyes, both knowing what they would have to do.

Matt rolled off her, unfolded his arm cannon, and began firing at the strange ship's engines.
Kira began shooting at the police officer. He charged at her, but she managed to put a bullet through his head before he reached her. Kira ran back to Matt "what now?" She asked, since her bullets would be ineffective against the aircraft. "Find Virnuk, I don't see him"

[Rakoua]

IC (Rakoua):
I noticed a strangee aircraft in the sky and started shooting at it.

Virunk, as fate would have it, was on the other side of the area. He obviously couldn't attack at that moment, just watching, but ready to act if anything attempted to kill him, which his luck would have happen sometime soon, judging by the rest of the events of that day.

Kira ran off, and soon found Virnuk. "Are you OK?"

Matt finally succeeded in blowing up one of the ships engines...

"Yeah, luckily..." Virunk said, as he nodded at Kira, wincing slightly, as he had hit the pavement fairly hard.
