Yeah that's always a good icebreaker. Unless it becomes the main conversation. Then it's just a little boring, and the fact that either you have nothing in common with the other person, or there is no imagination taking place. Tongue

And now the weather..... next slide
Aaaaand now, more weather

Yeah, there has been a definite trend in recent years, gearing universities towards nothing more than businesses that crank out stereotypically educated people. Universities used to be where you went if you wanted to learn how to think. Now, it seems like it's just a place where you go if you want a better job. Well, or a job period, for many fields. Nothing wrong with that at all, I just don't like how the universities are operating. Personally, even if I don't use my degree, I'll still be glad I got it, because I just enjoy learning. 'Course, if I don't get a job, my student loan servicer could get antsy! @_@
Hoverers sound pretty sweet. Maglev trains use the same concept and are super-fast because they have no friction. I thought about forced-air cars, but that's just regular hover craft, and they're noisy and they blow dust everywhere. Sad
I have no weekend plans, as I have a blaring cold and have been doing nothing since Friday, except this, and watching TV and playing video games. *sneeze* Argh. You?
It's just to get the degree it seems. Especially with so many online resources, there doesn't seem to be much else of a reason. But having past pros teach and guide you is super helpful, so IDK.
I will be at a card game tournament for most of the weekend. And I'll always make time to play smash bros; the fun times are endless Cheesy
What're the good shows these days? Smiley

What do people talk about at lunch and between classes???

Get tables near the cafeteria entrance and play the "guess how much debt that one has" game. =P

We usually just talk about how we're doing a project/what trouble we're having, what games we've been playing, what we did the other day.
