I might get Skyrim at some point when it gets massively discounted, but Steam sales have conditioned me to never pay more than $15 for a game.

If you had've been on last year, Portal was free for a week; which is when I got my Steam account and Portal(Despite not being able to play it for almost a year. =P)... =/ But I still recommend it. =) If there is a sale in the future, then I most certainly recommend it; Portal 2 is easily up on my list of favourites. =D

Steam has conditioned me never to buy anything over 10$ =P I got Skyrim as a gift.
And Skyrim has the most detailed open world I've ever seen in such a game. Too bad the cities are more like tiny villages...
