Oh, yes, why don't we bring everything to the gaming; next thing we'll have are gaming gla- ... Oh, right, 3D.
Honestly, does it sound like a good concept? Maybe, but Nintendo still manages to do it right, because, well, their game pad is designed specifically for gaming. You'll need to basically have about 6 hands for this new thing; between holding your smartphone and tablet(Because you can control the browser with that combo), playing the actual game with the controller, and trying not to drop all your equipment with Kinect... It sounds like a good concept on paper, but then Microsoft goes and messes it all up with Kinect.
I'd also take the Wii U over needing to get about 800-1200 dollars worth of equipment. I don't have an Xbox; I don't have a Kinect; we all know I don't have a smartphone or tablet... That means, right there, that I have literally none of the equipment needed, and to get it all would really be expensive, despite what MS would like you to think. The Wii U's not going to be anywhere near 800, and if it is, I'm just going to stare blankly, and shake my head, since that's how Sony failed with the PS3 initially.
Besides, I don't see this 'Smart Glass' being able to stream your game onto the tablet in question, so you can play without the TV, or allow the tablet to act as a TV remote. =P You need to look into the reasons why this is not the doom of Nintendo; not look into it and see reasons it is.
Canama: You missed the nearly half hour long presentation on Bing, IE, entertainment channels, and anything that wasn't games. =P
