Part Seven: Downfall (Note: I needed to chose between Descent and Downfall, and chose Downfall)
A robotic arm took a chunk of the Defiant's scorched ablative armor, sparks flying from the friction. Her hull was pretty much destroyed and powers were down, but the Vorta supervisors were happy that those disgusting human corpses were out of it and incinerated.t heir ashes airlocked in space. A sole ventilation opening was Sisko's way into the Alpha Quadrant's most powerfull warship. It was a hard fight to the hangar bay against a small army of Jem'Hadar. While Sisko didn't know that the Breen were rampaging trough Earth, he did know that they were rampaging against Starfleet and their Borg allies. The group quickly got to the bridge, now just a frame held by force fields and a piece of bubble gum onto he floor.
"Good, they sent all of their guards to search for us. It will be a while before they find us. Now, can someone fix anything around here?" Sisko said. He sat on his burned chair and saw a robotic arm in front of him. It seemed that a certain Jem'Hadar operator was trying to get a certain piece of equipment. He got a disruptor blast in his face, that blew up the arm and him. But the Defiant was in no flying condition... she wasn't even in any condition. Sisko sent O'Brien and Nog to search for supplies. As they ran down onto the magnetic deck, the metal stairs collapsed and they fell down. Suddenly, sparks started to fly all around the hangar, and fighters deployed. The massive hangar doors opened, and as the fighters scrambled to fight against the attackers, they were all destroyed by some torpedo's. The shockwave knocked the Defiant into the wall of her magnetic repair station, into one of the labs. Federation fighters scrambled into the hangar before the doors closed.
To prove how massive the hangar actually was, a Miranda-class starship entered it and shot phasers at the walls, damaging the massive destroyer even more. The phaser blasts broke trough the hull and the Jem'Hadar were forced to detach the hangarbay. It's not like they didn't have seven of them, plus the main one in the primary hull, but they weren't happy to lose the Defiant and lots of technology. The Miranda-class starship, called Orion teleported aboard all of people from the Defiant, along with Nog and O'Brien, and towed her out of the hangar with a tractor beam just before the reactor of the ejected hangarbay exploded. It threw the Defiant out of Orion's tractor beam and catapulted it toward Earth. What caused it to crash in New York and destroy Empire State Building, removing the jamming field, nobody knows, but now Starfleet shot single weak phaser blasts to take out the Breen, who were rampaging over London.
While the battle against the Dominion's flagship was mostly unsuccessfully, the Orion's braketrough being the only victory against it, many of the Cardassian and Dominion other ships have fallen, and the Breen were destroyed. Starfleet suffered heavy loses, though, an entire fleet of Galaxy and Sovering class ships was obliterated, or dead in space and captured. The Borg held their lines well, and the unexpected arrival of the Romulans and Kilingons, who were hoping not to be involved in the war but decided to protect their side of the galaxy alongside each other and the Federation, turned the tide of the battle. Finally, even the Cardassians turned against the Dominion, and the combined fire finally had effect on the Jem'Hadar warship's shields, which weakend. The ship self destroyed itself, but not before a small ship exited it and entered transwarp...
Later that month the Borg were fought off to the Delta Quadrant, and the Alpha and Beta Quadrants stood united before the tides of death that the Dominion, and perhaps the entire other side of the Milky Way, brought...
