I would say it's a fake mirror made with no transparency.
The United States "Star Wars" program is.... the effect of satelites disabling any missiles, nuclear, units, bombers, even landmarks, that are deemed, hostile, towards the country, effectively, it's more about the saftey on Nuclear weapons coming towards USA.
