Yep - lol - I try to be safe...and as you requested:

1. Lynndr tipped me off to the Finjan program.  Here is a little bit about it from: securebrowsing.finjan.com
Finjan SecureBrowsing provides you with safety ratings of URLs showing in your browser.
# Scans the current form of a page as it available on the Web now, in real-time.
# Detects malicious content based on code analysis, rather than using signatures like anti-virus products.
# Provides the most accurate page safety rating based on the actual page content, rather than database lookup of web address like URL filtering products.

2. SAN Monitoring Tool
Displays the current SANS ISC INFOCon level on the statusbar. The ISC is the Internet Security Center. So if there is an outbreak on the web, the status changes.

I use the firefox version - however there is a version that sits in the system tray also.
