Same here, I may actually go jogging now. xP(... Well, technically if it had've been out like last year I may have started jogging and such then, but... =P)
In other discussion; what do you think would be the best features to include in Gen 5?
Aside from all the features in HGSS combined with the awesome ones left in Plat, I think we can all agree on what Gen 5 needs...
3. D. Overworld. Sprites/Models. And I don't mean psuedo 3D sprites like in D/P/Pt/HG/SS... I mean actual 3D sprites like in Colo/XD. Obviously not as up close and featured in actual cutscenes, but overhead. 'course, it may have to wait 'til the true next DS, but... I think the DS could pull it off, even if we need the sprites/models to be the same size that we have now. It wouldn't be the battle sprites, however, because of the sheer amount of Pokemon we'll have. I'd like 3D battle sprites(Stadium 3D Models, plus all the new Pokemon since? YES. And in 3D battles ala Stadium? YES.), however, I'm willing to wait 'til the next DS for that; since we'd need even bigger carts to hold all that data. xP
Why would it need so much data? Well, when you think about it, we'll have like around 590 or 600 Pokemon by the time the next Gen's released. At least 593 if they include 100 new Pokemon. And since at least 495(Bulba to Arceus plus Zorua/Zoroark) Pokemon need to be in there, plus 3 sets of Starters for sure... that means we're up to 504 Pokemon. And we all know they're gonna stuff a ton more in, so... That's almost 600 Pokemon that need to have 3D Overworld and Battle models. Plus any animations, attacks, backgrounds(Heck, if we're gonna have the battle sprites and overworld sprites be 3D, why not overhaul the whole look of the battle screen? Minus the bottom screen, that could stay a little more plain, since you need to see the options. =P), trainer battle sprites, trainer overworld sprites, backgrounds for the overworld... Seals... Different Pokeballs(You know they're gonna add like 5-10 new Balls, right? Look at the pattern they themselves have set up... And since I'm still waiting for certain colour schemes... I gotta keep hope =P)... Berries/trees... Hopefully Apricorns, especially if the Pokeathlon returns... The Pokeathlon and it's sprites of course... Any mini-games aside from that... That adds up after a while.
