4. Well, I was going more along the lines of "the dev team did a R/S/E marathon before starting work on B/W/G."
3. If I recall...aren't FR/LG and R/S/E synchronous? As in, they happened at the same time, but before any of the other games? I can understand them pulling that with R/S/E itself, and with D/P/PT and HG/SS in the next generation, but pulling that with Unova would be stretching it.

remaking R/S/E, but were instead figuring out a way to make a whole new adventure in Hoenn? Heck, I could see an unholy alliance of former members of some of the old teams (ESPECIALLY Cypher) making a comeback there, since Hoenn is fairly decentralized and unregulated (at least, compared to, say, Kanto or Sinnoh, or especially Black version Unova), and Cypher especially since XD hinted they would rebuild again and they are clearly familiar with at least some of the Hoenn Pokemon.
...dang, now I want to make this game myself.
