Playing Red Version on a gameboy colour is strangely satisfying, probably due to the fact that item cloning is really easy and the old sprites are pretty cool to see and are a lot rougher than the new ones. Yellow version is also fun, since you get all three starters along with Pikachu, but the lack of cloning is meh. Also not getting a mew isn't as good as Red either.
I would replay crystal, but that would mean resetting and losing my Celebi and Ho-oh which I got from my friend years ago...

Also, playing the battle frontier in Emerald is awesome, and if/when remakes come out I really hope gamefreak brings back the exact same frontier (even without updated graphics would be fine). I think emerald's frontier is the high point of gamefreak's development.

White version now seems so simple compared to those older games. The bright side is the fact that I can get wi-fi event pokemon now... a few years too late though.
