My team will be:
Tyranitar
Dragonite
Metagross
Empoleon
Leafeon
and a lightning type, either Raichu or Manectric

I can have an Ursaring w/ Avalanche and Earthquake. You don't have a Fighting Pokemon on your team, and since Ursaring has a base of 130 Attack, your team is in big trouble.
Ursaring is not an ice type or ground type... saying that I don't have a fighting pkmn on my team means nothing and you pointed that out yourself by putting two moves that are not the same type as your pkmn in the post. I think that answers back to you pretty well.

Anywho, how about this team:
Dragonite (Drgn/Flng)
Tyranitar (Rck/Drk)
Togekiss (Nrml/Flng)
Leafeon (Grs)
Ampharos (Lghtng)
Toxicroak (Fghtng/Psn)

Yes, there is no fire or water, but I can give fire and water moves to others...

Your new team still has a Ice and Ground issue. Ursaring was merely just an example, there are other Pokemon that can learn an Ice and Ground moves at the same time. I'm not saying that I recommend you use a Fighting type, I'm saying that you didn't plan on putting a Fighting move on a Pokemon since you only aimed for STAB moves, in which that isn't enough. You also need moves that will take advantage of the Pokemon's weakness.
For example, Salamence has a weakness to Rock and Ice. By teaching it Earthquake and Stone Edge, it will take advantage of its two weaknesses.
Also, I tend to go with mixed types in a team. If you don't get what I mean, if I have a Staraptor, I would choose another Pokemon that isn't Normal or Flying, basically no repeats of a type. Just advice, not forcing you to follow what I say.
Ah, you have a Toxicroak as your Fighting type, but if I'm assuming you use that to fight my Ursaring so you can use a Fighting move on it, I can always switch Ursaring out and get a Ground Pokemon like a Hippowdon to use Earthquake and land an OHKO. Even though it isn't fast, its high Defense and Hit Points can take a hit from Focus Punch, one of the most powerful Fighting move.

=EDIT - About the cloning glitch in Pokemon Emerald, to be safe, how often should you perform it?
