I was definately going to listen to your advice, since what you've advised for me so far has been very good(such as Return on Leafeon and other movesets). Also, since Air Slash is Special, it would make sence for Togekiss and it has flinching abilities. I wouldn't have thought of Thunder Wave, but It is good a good choice.
Hustle is a dumb effect for Toge-anything, as they have aweful attack... lowering accuracy is just dumb.
I'll probably put Leftovers on Togekiss(BTW, where do I find this?)

Current Team:
Empoleon lv 76
Leafeon lv 79 (it learned swords dance naturally ShockedGrin )
Weavile lv 73 (Packs a punch but can't take a hard hit)
Electivire lv 64
Magmortar lv 49
Togetic lv 38 (since I had to start over from the one with hustle...)

When should I evolve Togetic?

You can find Leftovers on wild Munchlax, or as a random hold object if your Pokemon has the Ability "Pickup" and is somewhere between Levels 81-100. Or you could transfer one from Emerald.

If you're going with Paraflinch Togekiss, it really doesn't matter when to evolve it.
thanks. I think I'll go with importing from emerald. seems to be the easiest...

my friend used something to give me a complete national dex in emerald, and I got cyndaquil. It's now a Typhlosion(my fav starter from GSC and one of my all time favs). Too bad they can't re-release GSC so that Ho-oh, Lugia, and the three starters would be easily available for the ds games...

I see your point on the Lum Berry/Leftovers point. Sadly(prepare yourself)... I have not gathered a single berry throughout my journey. The only one I have is from some lady... I should get on that soon...
In the battle castle you can rent a lum berry...

@0PC0: your Torterra is way ahead of everyone else on your team...  how far into the game are you again?

my team is currently in the rebuilding stage as well, but mostly for movesets, and I'm also looking for a water pkmn to replace Empoleon. I've already determined 5 of 6 pkmn on my team, I just need to finalise their movesets:
Togekiss: Serene Grace w/ ParaFlinch moveset. Item: Quick Claw, Lum Berry or Leftovers.
Electivire: Motor Drive; Thunder Punch, Earthquake and two other physical moves. Item: ?
Magmortar: Flame Body; Flamthrower, Thunderbolt, Focus Blast and something. Item: ?
Leafeon: Leaf Guard; Leafblade, Synthesis, Swords Dance, Return. Item: ?
Weavile: Snow Cloak; Ice Punch, Night Slash, Brick Break and I'm gonna teach it Swords Dance. Item: ?

Yeah. their levels are 61, 67, 50, 80 and 74 respectively. If you're training a Leafeon it learns Swords Dance at level 78...

I can't get Feraligatr(easily... I'm not gonna try for it...), so I need a water pkmn, as well as two moves for Electivire, one for Magmortar, and an item for Leafeon, Electivire, Magmortar and Weavile...

... Arceus. Available. For. Download. As. Movie. 12. Movie. Pokemon.

Also, level 100, and knows both it's signature move, and all three of the Dragon Trio's signature moves.

And since CoroCoro will be out soon, and with the stuff I've been reading... We just may get a treat if all the factual evidence goes the way I think it may be going...

Arceus with all the goodies?!? =O

I'm currently fighting my way to the Spear Pillar. I have the final evolutions of the three starters, along with a Drifblim, average level 48ish. I have a Volt Tackle Pikachu, level 39, and a Gligar for an HM slave, level 16.

Distortions, here I come. >=D

/Edit: Just remembered I found someone in the Canalave Gym (Steel) says the word "noob" before you fight him. XD

How long did it take you to find a Pikachi w/ a light ball? And where'd you find it?
And they should have made the DW longer than it is... maybe in future games...
lol. I must've missed that.

I finally got around to picking up the Riolu egg from Iron island... trained it to lv 35 and it evolved after fighting Cynthia. Not sure whether or not to include it in my team instead of someone else or not. And speaking of my team:
Electivire and Togekiss are both level 68. Togekiss only knows 3 moves Tongue Electivire knows Thunder Punch, Earthquake, Fire Punch and Giga Impact.

21/32 BP required for Thunderwave for Togekiss. I have Roost, just haven't taught it to Togekiss yet.
Edit: 21/32 aquired for T-Wave.

Seeing how annoying it is to find a Light Ball, I simply ARed it on Pearl.

But if you want one legit, you can rarely fine one on a wild Pikachu. Wink

You should, it's a very good game ^_^ And pretty easy to pick up and play, since you don't need to know more than how to select stuff and read and know where to go. Plus, it seems there's something for everyone in Platinum...

One thing though, you'll need a DS for the latest versions.

Finished the Distortion World and caught Giratina (With an Ultra Ball, to boot ^_^), I caught Uxie with 7 Ultras, caught Azelf with 13 of the same. Mesprit's running, mostly due to my mad skilz, but that's beside the point. =P

My three starters are about Lv 50, and Drifblim is just short of that at 47. Pikachu is at 45, and could heead into Raichu at any time.

That said, can I get a suggested movelist for Pikachu?

@DB - A good moveset for a Raichu would be:

Adamant -- Item: Leftovers
- Volt Tackle
- Substitute
- Focus Punch
- Grass Knot/Encore

Use Substitute and then use Focus Punch. The opposing Pokemon will hit your Substitute if it lives and lets you use Focus Punch successively. Grass Knot is there as to hit Water/Ground types that'll wall you. If you used your Grass Knot already, or you don't want to waste a one-copy only TM like me, go with Encore instead to make things a bit easier. Volt Tackle insists that you want a Physical Raichu, so there you go. Leftovers recovers you from the HP wasted from those Substitutes and Volt Tackle recoils.

A Special based Raichu:

Modest/Timid -- Item: Choice Specs
- Nasty Plot
- Thunderbolt
- Focus Blast
- Grass Knot/Hidden Power Ice

Nasty Plot to boost your Special Attack power, and sweep. Grass Knot for the same above purpose, or Hidden Power Ice for defensive Grass or Ground types and to do some decent damage to a walling Altaria.

Thank you, B~T. Smiley

I now has the following:
Lv 52 Torterra
Lv 52 Infernape
Lv 50 Empoleon
Lv 47 Drifblim
Lv 46 Pikachu

I'm possibly thinking of Weavile as the last member, but I'm not entirely sure on this one. Suggestions?

Someone suggested a Weavile moveset for me:

Weavile w/ Jolly Nature
Icepunch/IceShard
Brick Break
Night Slash
Swords Dance

I would definately get a Weavile for E4 purposes, since it made Lucian and Cynthia's Garchomp easy to beat.

BTW: have you faced the last gym yet?
Your pkmn are way ahead of what mine were at that point in the game. My highest was like lv 48 I think...
