Thanks. I have to grow a few more Kelpsy berries before I can start training for EVs. If I have it right, you need 11 berries to lower total EVs of a sta to zero right?
-1st one lowers EVs to 100,
2-11 lower total EVs by 10 each.

My Scisor is gonna end up with:
252 Attack
252 Speed
6 Defence

Techinician:
-Bullet Punch
-X Scissor
-Swords Dance
-Night Slash/something else.

It currently has everything but the EVs and a possible last move other than Night Slash. Technician raises Bullet Punch's power, and BP allows me to go first every time.

I now have a level 54 Slaking. Not thaat great with the Truant,but I'll live with it.

*prepares* I KNOW you are going to say it is banned from tournament play,because of the base stats and blah,blah,blah. I doubt i will ever enter a Tournament.

My Scisor now has 252 Speed EVs(thanks to the Power item that boosts speed), almost 252 attack EVs( I trained it to have all 252, but I couldn't remove all of it's Special Defence EVs. I have to wait for more berries), and 6 defence EVs. I may try to train Electivire, since Scisor only took me a couple hours yesterday.
I trained against a cycler on the Cycle Road. He had a Farfetch'd, Dodrio and Staraptor. A total of 6 attack EVs per battle. VS seeker is really quite useful.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaand, my team(currently):
Electivire lv 92
Togekiss lv 91
Leafeon lv 90
Scisor lv 91
Weavile lv 79 (I know. I haven't trained it for a while...)

1 slot left. Probably a dragon(Salamance or Flygon?)

-I'll check it at lv 100(unless I can check them now, which I doubt because I am unsure of how many attack and sp defene EVs it has,
although once I remove sp defence EVs and max attack EVs it may be easier)

-Elite Four + Exp Share to start off. I begin EV training at high levels because I like to battle the E4. And I also battle the gym leaders a lot, and I do not train many pkmn(other than the five I mentioned, I have 5 lv 70+ pkmn(Empoleon, Sharpedo, Rapidash and Palkia and Dialga). Plus I play a lot(too much actually. I've put in over 100 hours on Platinum so far. In a while I'll be playing a lot less, and then my progress will slow down.)

My basic day on Platinum is basically this:
-Battle Gym Leaders + other trainer in the TTC
-Check for berries. Water as needed and pick when ripe.
-Get a massage from Veilstone lady(only for the dress up item that comes with it).
-Go to rival's house( not blondy, but the opposite of Dawn...) and check for swarms. Go catch swarmed pkmn if I don't have it already.
-Check villa for any new furniture(currently have everthing except for two things: one that I need to hatch 30 eggs to get and another that I need to walk 300 000 steps for(although I think they switched that one with another, because one thing at GameFaqs says you need five prints to get it but I have it))
-VS Seek a little bit

-I occasionaly battle the E4, but I haven't lately since I beat it 20 times
-Battle my rival(blondy) on the weekends.
-Go insearch of pkmn to add to my dex, which is currently:

Own:154

I've only traded a few things between my P/Pl: the three regis, Gallade and my Magmar and Electabuzz back and forth to evolve them. I don;t have wi-fi either.

I went to Serbiiforums on my Dsi,and used the IV calculator. Well,i checked a Slakoth that i bred with my Slaking and Infernape. Here`s the weird part-i got 31 IVs in FOUR STATS,and 29 in the two others. Is that possible?

Although i MAY have put a 1 in front of some stats,accidentally

That's completely possible. Insanely rare, but completely possible.

That's not its true IVs. You have to level it up using Rare Candies to get a more accurate result, and then check its IVs.

Also, Slaking is NOT banned from competitive battle, since its ability saves it from being overused. Slaking is VERY powerful, and if used correctly, it can be a potent force on your team.

Especially in a double battle. Team it with a pokemon with Skill Swap. It'll get rid of truant and Slaking will devastate the field. >=D

I dunno. I just know it'd be an insane combo. I know an even more insane combo using Skill Swap, but it's crazy. And although I've never used it, it should leave you untouchable. >=D

That's what I was thinking. Skill swap has it's uses. I can think of many good uses for it, such as Regigas + skill swap.

Meh, I'm currently just mass breed/evolving the Pokemon I have so I can complete my Dex, but I'll be training at least a Chimchar and a Gallade(Yeah, yeah, overlapping types, but both have their uses, and it's hard to find a good non-fighting Fire type these days =P) when I can. Finally got a Jolly Chimchar...

But my other team is kinda scattered in my PC to prevent the Pokerus they're infected with from going away =P

Also, if anyone with Wi-Fi wants the Johto starters, give me a heads up and I'll breed them and send them your way =)

Hmm, interesting... Well, at least they did, that'd be devastating on the two Pokemon I mentioned, they have no weaknesses xD

... You found your DS? When'd you lose it? And does this mean that people may actually get to have Wi-Fi battles with you again? Oh, and if there's a future game that can trade with D/P/Pt, I expect to battle you Mata Nui, once I get my competitive team planned out and ready(I need it for the Battle Frontier anyway, so what the heck, why not start now =P).

Also... What would people say to maybe there being a Pokemon D/P/Pt tournament here in a few months? Maybe the summer when people have time to train, or the fall when people are back from trips?
