When you get another Pokemon off the GTS, and breed it, the offspring has a higher chance of being shiny.
Rather than the usual 1/8192 chance, the Masuda Method is now 1/2000.

The Pokeradar Chaining Method is more efficient in my opinion.

@flipz:  Hmm...I have to think about that.  I know Electivire is one.  Gallade is also a good one.  For the last, I would probably say...hmm...I have to think about the last one.  What are you planning for them?  Also, do you play Pokemon?

You'd summon them using the Great Controller for an epic battle against the main villians, who have summoned several powerful bosses from other games (specifically Kraid from Metroid, Rayquaza from Pokemon/Super Smash Bros Brawl, and...*sorry, I can't remember what the last one was.  I'll have to check my notes).  Funnily enough, Blade also chose Electivire...but hey, since you're working together that means Jas won't have to draw as many Pokemon...which means it'll be easier for him and he'll be able to finish sooner.

I don't really play Pokemon; most of my Pokemon knowledge is limited to Super Smash Bros Brawl (which explains why Lucario, Pikachu, and Ivysaur are currently my favorite 3).  I'm not really that "in" to the concept of most Pokemon games (though Collisseum was and still is quite tempting); I just find certain Pokemon cute or cool-looking.  Which is why I don't like Giratina.  Because he is just plain ugly.[/brutalbutnecessaryhonesty]

Well, I don't really think the PokeWalker itself will push up the price any more than the Wireless Adapter did Fr/Lg's price, and the IR tech has already been used in Pokemon games before(Didn't the original G/S games use it for Mystery gift, or am I mixing it up with TCG?), though since it's built into the game card... Hmm...

And where's the thing about it being IR?

do you know what regions are gonna be in HGSS? Like will there be both Kanto and Johto(like the original) and a Battle Frontier? Because if there is all three of those, and the PokeWalk, and the IR tech, then this could be a lot of money...

Oh, and if anyone was wondering, my fav pokemon are Porygon-Z, Eevee, and Tyranitar. Eletivire, Gallade, the eeveelutions and Metagross come close afterwards.

The number of regions in the game wouldn't increase the price unless it needed multiple game cards somehow(... That could happen actually, except it won't because it'd need to be DSi exclusive in that case.), or such, since the only thing that multiple regions would need is space for data on the game card Though, PokeWalker and the IR tech may run the price up, but I hope not, or at least not too much... D=

True... I just hope it's not too much if it does up the price, otherwise, many people may not be able to afford this =/
