Here's mah review.It is like B~T's review, but I have a few small changes, such as coloring, and the use of  my unreliable different opinion. I will use a news box like B~T.

Intimidate: Lowers the foe's attack one stage;reduces wild Pokemon encounter rate.
Rivalry: Move power depends on Nature.
Tier: NU


Stats:

Speed:  70

My Opinion: Although it's your best choice for an electric type in Diamond and Pearl, in competitive battling its lack of speed and fairly average defenses leave it fairly helpless in competitive battling.

Reccomended Setup:
Nature: Adamant
Item: Choice Band
EVs: 40 HP/252 ATK/216 Speed
~Crunch
~Ice Fang
~Spark
~Thunder Wave

This set gives you nice type coverage, among other thing. Ice Fang is to cover Ground Types, Spark is a decent physical attack with STAB. Crunch is simply so useful you can't pass on it, good power, accuracy and typing. Thunder Wave is the wild card, there to slow down faster foes.

Countering Luxray

Luxray isn't the toughest Pokemon to counter. Any Ground type with bulky defense can stop Luxray in his tracks...Rhyperior comes to mind. An Electivire with Earthquake can absorb Thunder Wave and Spark, and potenially 1HKO it. Any decent Physical Wall can pretty much stop it, assuming it has correct typing. Swampert can, like Electivire, absorb attacks and 1HKO it.

@DT - Also mention that Luxray has no reliable STAB Physical Move.

And mention the preferred ability in competitive battle.

So I'm guessing people with imports and are far enough to connect can't join in? =P Or is it just limited to moves and such that you can't learn in D/P/Pt like how Platinum had new moves, if HG/SS has any at all?

Also, Return instead of Thunder Wave.  Spark is preferred over Thunder Fang for offering a 30% paralysis rate, so you should offer Return instead.  Return is its strongest attacking option. 

I got my Bagon, Naive Natured, completely EV trained and up to Level 31, and then I realized that Dragon Dance is an Egg Move on Salamence. 

Biggest >__< move in Pokemon I've done in a VERY long time.  I need to pay more attention next time. -__- 

@Blade:  Actually, the HGSS tournament will be the May tournament.  For one, with all things considered, I can't see NA getting HGSS before early February.  Furthermore, I want to give everyone some decent time to get through their games.  For many, these games will be their access to the tournaments, and as such, they need reasonable time to work on them.  Thus, HGSS additions won't be allowed until then.

I actually have Dragon Dance Bagon. Want some?

Oh, and on the topic of release timeline...

In February, M&L Inside Story was released. It is being released here in America in a few weeks.

That means it took about 7 months to transtlate everything. I'd say we should expect this in March-April.

Alright, so if I theoretically got HG/SS via importing(... What? =P), and raised up my team on Platinum, and traded it over to HG/SS, provided I didn't make any changes, it'd be alright? What about traded Pokemon from HG/SS via someone who imported it, same deal?('course I'd have to pay attention to Serebii then even more =P)

BTW, can someone re-explain EV-lowering berries to me? To make sure my Forterresses defense was at 100, I used a berry. But when i used an Iron to check....the Iron worked. =/ I haz way to fix, but it is sorta annoying...

They make sure that ur pokemon is friendlier but lower pacific stat for each one of the lowering berries. I would Check My Ds But I just woke up! And Also Arceus Is Only Obtainable through an event in Japan Where the new pokemon movie came out. And You Can't Trade him in GTS Because He holds Perish ribbon (or sumthin)

If a Pokemon has 100 EVs or lower in a stat, then a berry will reduce it by 10 EVs.

The vitamins give Pokemon 10 EVs in a stat and stop at 100 EVs. There, you train by yourself.
