if you want to know ivs, battle a friend with your level 1s and check their ivs with an iv calculator, it is perfectly accurate for level 100s.

it works for me.

That would save it, so if it's perfect nature, perfect Gender, shiny, and has the perfect ability... But had like all 0 in IVs, and you did an EV battle to check, you'd be rather annoyed since it would save. See, the nature, gender, ability, and if it's shiny or not is set when the Egg's created... But IVs are set when it's taken. So if you save before getting the egg, you can try to reset for epic awesome IVs.

Or just battle Pokemon to raise their levels, and make sure to keep track of the EVs they yield. That way, no Rare Candies wasted.

And you cannot save, since you do not know what IVs your Pokemon has yet, and if they have bad IVs, then what are you going to do?

Wagner: But we're saying to reset for good IVs on an egg you've already got if it's good. Your idea is using the 'breed thousands of eggs all at once' method. You can't save once you take the egg from the day-care man, unless you've got a good Pokemon from it, or you'll have to restart the breeding process, and if you've got a shiny perfect natured perfect gendered Pokemon miraculously, I doubt you'd want to go through a ton of time to get it again...

My DS, as old as it is, has finally hit fail-mode. Well, at least partial-fail mode. The graphics in the upper screen have started switching colors. This, of course, makes Pokemon fail-play. Dx
