I already pre-ordered HG, so obviously I'm getting that one. =P As you guys might have guessed, my time here is going to start dragging in the mud when I get HG. So don't expect to see me much except for exchanging FCs.

Plus I'm going to be going on a lot of walks over a prolonged period of time. =P

Oh, and I think I figured out why the wi-fi capabilites of D/P/Pt/HG/SS(?) don't support WPA-

Pal Park.

Pal Park is included, under the assumption that a player is still using a DS Lite. Which means that the game wouldn't be ABLE to support WPA.  So it's essentially one or the other, without the "other" part. >_<

You don't think a simple coding thing could easily fix that? =P

Simple switches can fix stuff like that; otherwise there'd be that whole R/G/B/Y/G/S/C problem(RGBY would have to either be able to trade or not be able to trade, with no middle ground. See, I'm assuming how people were able to only trade between G/S/C games in the normal trade center, and only G/S/C to R/G/B/Y in the Time Capsule, is a switch, telling that if it's a GSC to GSC game, allow access to the trade center, if not, forbid access, and allow access to the time capsule.).

Plus, if they can program stuff to toss a Griseous Orb to your pack, and revert formes of Pokemon if you go Online, and disallow SEP... =P

And the likely reason that Platinum wasn't with WPA... The DSi was released after Platinum was in both Japan and North America. Hard to add support when it's not out yet. =)

Its true, they probably could code that; I had to do a bit of that in my time with C++. Although it may be considered a hassle. =P

Including myself. =P As I said, if Game Freak doesn't make WPA work with HG/SS...NoA will receive a lot of angry emails and eggs on their building. =P 'course, it'd give me more time to perfect my competitive team.

Dudebot: Dunno, I've heard reports of it though. Can't test it myself though; I still only have the first DS. =P

And my old GBA also still works. =P

It seems to be better with the RNG, because I had it on with Emerald for like two minutes, and found Latios. xP

HG/SS...does NOT work with my wifi. >____________<

On the bright side, it's a great game. =) I'm using a seperate team from my competitive team as my main quest team...just feel like it. I've used the Pokewalker a bit, and it works pretty well. My current team:

Croconaw Level 21
Bellsprout Level 17
Togepi Egg (will hatch soon)
Pikachu-Colored Pichu: Level 30 (won't obey me yet >_>)

I got soul silver today!  I caught a random shiny bellsprout lol.
I started off with totodile, and im on the second leader right now.  Got my jirachi in the pokewalker.

yea it was completely random, I kinda wish it was a mareep or someone I can actually use later on.  Anyways anyone know what you do with the spikey-ear pichu?  I just got it in the forest with the pikachu colored pichu and so now they both seem kinda pointless.
