You can't, to my knowledge.

Also, Eevee is not before the E4. =P Gible and Riolu, yes, but not Eevee. It's not in the D/P Sinnoh dex.

Also, Mahri, you DO get an Evee (ONE Evee) pre-Final 4 in Platinum.  Be sure to soft-reset to get a female so you can breed it early.

Also, Bidoof's evolution is like the best HM slave ever.

HM slaves are the best XD Though towards the end you usually only need moves that are viable for battle anyway = P Also, how do you breed a female Eevee but not a male Eevee? Wouldn't you need a Ditto either way?

And Blade, I know you usually can't, I found a new emulator though, and it DOES say I have an internet connection, which I've never had happen in previous emulators, so... Worth a shot = P

Nope; egg groups. Just gotta find the right one and breed a female eevee, since otherwise you'd get whatever the female is.

That's odd. 0_o I'd help test, but I don't have the proper internet for the normal DS anymore... That's intriguing, though, first I've heard about that...

I had mixed feeling when the game was being announced but over time I warmed up to the idea of the new pokemon.
The Looker quest line was very nice. Unexpected but nice. I really enjoyed it.

 Okay, so my emulator tells me I have connection right up until I try to do anything it then says the connection has disappeared. That's kind of a bummer.

JUst beat the E4 in X; solid game overall even if I did prefer BW2's champion battle. I love how the made EV training much more accessible with ST (even if vanilla ev training was easy enough)

Dagnabbit, I think I screwed up my recorded EVs on my Cacnea...oh well, I guess I can just 255 it and not care about the 4 EVs to Attack.  There's no way to view EVs on Pokemon prior to X/Y, right?  And since this is Gen III, there's no PokeEdit for that (or items) either.

Ah, well.  Just have to deal with it, I suppose.  If I go over on my Special Attack EVs, it won't affect my ability to 255 my HP EV, right?

^ You can actually use a berry that lowers its base attack in return for happiness, (kelpsy berry I think)?

If you do that the EVs will go down to 100, and then every 10 (100, 90, 80, 70 ect) so that's a solution if you're up for some more grinding.

Considering it's in-game only (on emulator) and that I don't have the requisite berries (and that berry-growing in general is a bit of a pain anyway), it's fine.  If I could cheat in the berry I needed, I'd just read the actual value so I don't overtrain in the first place.

OK, took the Root fossil 'cause I like Cradily better, even though I'll never actually use it.

Is it possible to breed any good Fighting moves onto Aron?  Because I have a female with a Gentle nature, so I can stick it in the Daycare and breed off of it.

While I'm at it, is there anything particularly good I can breed onto a Mudkip?  I DO have a female, after all, so (again), Daycare.

EDIT: OK, nothing that will be particularly helpful here, though it is interesting to see that Aron can have both Body Slam and Smelling Salts bred onto it, allowing for a cycle of paralyze-mega damage-repeat.  Might be useful for Final Four.

I put a list of a potential Final Four team on the last page, care to take a look at it again?  (copied here for convenience)

Thinking ahead to Final 4, Blaziken can take the Ice-types and the Dark-types with minimal fuss, and I'm thinking of switching Grovyle for Cacturne, which should deal with the Ghost-types.  I want an Ice-type of my own to deal with the dragons, which would you suggest?  (Keep in mind what I can and can't get pre-Elite Four.)  Finally, I can either use Cacturne on the Water-types and just deal with the damage, or, preferably, I need a Pokemon with an Ability that renders it completely immune.  Is there anything like than in Emerald?

EDIT 2: OK, looks like Lombre with Mega Drain and Leech Seed is my best bet, I'll just have to remember to switch to Cacturne (Pin Missile/Needle Arm/Faint Attack/Spikes) for Tentacruel and the enemy Ludicolo (weak to Pin Missile).  My Ice type will be Glalie.  That leaves me with two Pokemon slots open, who do I use as backup?

There's no-one that gets Water Absorb in Emerald before the Elite 4. Your best bet is to just train up something to take the damage, or, more preferably, take an electric type to the league and obliterate everything. =P
