LU costs money to CREATE
Even though LEGO turned a profit last year, it was drastically less than anticipated.
The 2008 toy line was not as well received as they had hoped.
They are banking on sales from the 2009 toy line to finance the completion of LU.
I'm just saying.

Actually, MMOGs only requires money really to get and host the servers. They already have Flash, so that cost is gone. Ok, hiring a company like NetDevil raised the cost... But would it really be by that much? |
