The only thing that's bad is the fact that it's getting chosen, the Rank 3 isn't bad, because it gets rid of most of the Dupers. But even the getting chosen thing isn't that bad, because everyone has a chance, but if they allowed EVERYONE to Beta test it, who would want it to go to actual release, because technically that's what it'd be...

based on my previous experiences with them, some of which i deleted, I do not  think that it is automated. for example, I sent an email with a suggestion for the next pellet module, because i felt that the electro-pellet inductor module was too slow, and here is their reply:

(Many boys and girls think the people who work in that department are lucky! Just imagine designing and building new sets all day long!)  Once designed and approved, molds must be created for new elements, and instructions and packaging must also be designed and made.
 
You should be quite proud that you are creative like the people who work for our Company - give yourself a pat on the back!  We, too, are proud of your efforts: you are a certified LEGO enthusiast.

I'm glad that explains the Berix-tarix thing...
But that First... still looks a little automated. BUt it'll pass.
And you thought the electro-pellet was too slow?
Things like MLN are supposed to be challenging.
But, BoT:
If they removed the Skip function because of things you can do in the race, then I'm happy.

That first mail is automated. The second, though, I don't think is automated. But, I don't think... I've been getting stuff AFTER the mini-rank was finished.

even if the REPLY is automated, it doesn't mean that LEGO isn't reading the emails. I still think each of us should ask LEGO to make the beta test open to everyone.

It would also open it to all real users who are having trouble reaching rank 3 (like me), and Duplicate accounts are unlikely to use the beta anyway. plus, who cares if anyone can play? you should be happy if anyone who wants to help can!

I know that, but I have confirmation that there will be a MLN badge for whoever helps the beta test, and it would be unfair to give the badge out to beta testers if they didn't get a choice to help test. plus, the MLN beta test was open and no one was upset about that

We don't want people who dupe having 5 players on a team...

Uhhh.... only random people are going to be picked for the beta testing.
Not MLN Beta Testers, but some of them will still get it. (Speaking of MLN beta Testers, I'm seeing less and less of them...)
