Well I asked Legos customer service, and this is what they said:
We are sorry you had a problem with our online LEGO® on line games. The LEGO Racers Challenge game is a game that is actually still at works. This game was intended to be put out to our LEGO network subscribers first, it was not intended for the public. We have actually collected all the information from our consumers and these bugs are being worked on. Once the final stage of the game is release these bugs are no longer going to be an issue. Please just bear with us as we work to make the game as perfect as it should be. I hope with this answer you understand a little bit more as to why the issue with the game. Once again, please accept our most sincere apologies.
