DON'T FREAK!
The lockdown is only temporary!  We are going to post some rules for you ALL to follow.  We need to cut down on the arguing.  It has somehow gotten way out of control.

For Now:
-There will be one HQ per team.
-The creator of the topic is "in charge" unless they would like to give it up and hold elections.  That IS the way it is done on our boards and if you cannot abide by this rule then the topic will be shutdown for good.
-The "old" teams no longer exist!  Join a new team and get on with supporting your new members.  That's just the way it is. 
-From now on any mention of the old Racers teams will be considered SPAM and will be deleted.
-ANY MENTION OF EXTERNAL WEBSITES IS NOT ALLOWED!  IF YOUR POST REFERS TO ANY OTHER WEBSITE BESIDES THIS ONE IT WILL BE REJECTED.

Please bare with us while we create a "Rules for Head Quarters."

I'm not very happy about this. Actually, scratch that, I'm not happy about this. There are many other ways to reach a compromise, and they choose the one that just takes out the people preparing for LRC since DRC ended? I don't think it's right. No mentions of the DRC teams? *Shakes head* Something tells me I'm gonna be resuming my leave from the LMBs, and maybe not even play LRC when Beta ends due to the boringness of LRC(Even I noticed it =/ It's a watered down version of DRC.), and now this. *Shakes head*

IMO, their new definiiton of spam needs refining.
Then again, it seems they never actually moderate, look at one or two posts and when the next generation of moderaters come, it'll hopefully be better.

These rules were written because of the HORRENDOUS arguing that was going on there. LEGO had to do something. THey came down on the side of their existing rules. Big surprise.

Here's a newsflash: It doesn't matter who an external source says is in charge of a team. It doesn't matter who LMB says is in charge of a team.
Leaders emerge by acting like leaders.

And you can't control what you can't control...

Actually, in this case, it kinda does. And there were other ways to resolve the arguments than denying talk of the old teams, making it so that topic creators have to be leaders, and such. Just because it happens on the others doesn't mean it should happen there, because in this case, it's something external. All they should have control of is the topic, as people even mentioned in that other topic. And people were arguing because they thought the DRC teams were owning the teams, which is not correct at all. In fact, there was actually progress being made, but no...

Yeah... suppose your right MSRR. I didn't actually go on DRC, but I still think you should be allowed to mention the teams. If it stops the arguing, I won't mind these rules. If it doesn't...

That's exactly what happened... They just wanted to lead it by having their government, but only to help the team...

It is too late, and now all progress made on at least Wrench Wright, DTD, and probably Slicksta is gone. I bet he won't be very happy about this either >_> There was no need for this though, since I think it was starting to be resolved. *Shakes head*

Oh, and why is too late? Do you actually think they'd change this, which they think will resolve all arguments?

MsRR: And the half that would know... What if they followed their leader, and their team got led into losing? Meh.

I think the point of a team is to learn to work together and help each other reach a goal.   It doen't matter who the leader is, it matters who LEADS.

Yeah, progress was being made in other teams such as Tsuiso. TRM was about to hold an election for new spots on the whole government thing when the Mods cracked the whip, a bit to late in my opinion.
