BOT tho please. Muddy conversations can be held in the PM box.  4:)

In any case, Legodac, PM me, I also have an idea.

Well, this topic is awesome. Interesting tips.
The lightbulbs are quite small apparently, small enough to fit inside the Sandy visors.
I'm gonna try and do something one day and then post it here.

Thanks alot eh, you Brickers are beyond cool.

As promised, here's a little material list of things you should have to Light Up Your Lego...

Not to worry, I've got alot of pics for you to view, and hey eh, they say just one tells a thousand words, so a thesis you will have...

Let's start with the lights, they're 12 volt, the power source I'll discuss and show in the next exerpt, "Light Up My Lego Hydro Poles".

As you see with a little help from my friends, they're really tiny and not expensive if you are only considering a single project...

You can find them in Hobby stores around the Universe...

Dr. Dimento is holding the solder, not needed in my last project, but an almost must when doing the Hydro pole layout...

The Fireman from 1981 is holding some wire, it's less then 22 guage and solid copper, great for interior and close courter work in lighting, not good for long distances, it doesn't look natural. The wire is free if you're creative, and I know you are eh, get it from the telephone installer or the cable girl or guy eh. You don't need much, since most low voltage cables are multi-paired and colored which is also advantages.

Last but not least we need DUCT SEAL, found at ALL hardware stores, and real cheap, it's basically play-do with a bad taste and a whole lot stickier  Grin Tongue, you'll use this in applications I haven't even thought of yet, in allways tiny doses. You buy a pound for 4 bucks, dollars, uro's, pounds, yen, or 1 chicken should cover the cost if you're into bartering.
Important, keep it moist, by wrapping it up in a plastic bag.

Finally we come to the pics and the last one, of my camera with a big guy behind in a mirror I made, just shows to go you, Brickers come in all shapes and sizes...

Enjoy your day eh, and Play well

   Smiley

/EDIT: Unfortunately, those last two pics seem to have someone in it, and could be considered a personal pic, so on the off chance it is that, I'm removing them. Nothing against you though. -- Blade

@ legodac.

Cool photos. Really cool to combine LEGO with real used material...  Must we find 7 differences at the double photos or is it just a error?

Please excuse my double, he never does what I ask him to  Huh? Grin

Well here we are as promised, the HYDRO POLES, they are in fact the heart of my layout, excluding the power source of course.

Without which I could not have shown you a Lego Christmas tree with lights.

The poles are spaced throughout the diorama, providing power where we choose to send it.

I used an #18 guage stranded copper wire with brown insulation for the DC conductors pole to pole, there are only 3 breaks.

The pole itself is a 3/8 wooden dowel, Lego would have taken way to long to glue for strength

Do you see metal, they are the #4 machine screws used to hold the Lego Hydro pole cross arms, you'll need to do a little drilling to make all this happen....

By the way, please excuse the cobwebs, they were really hard to build...

without further ado, here are the pics I intended to show you in the first place

You wanna do this, it's easy, trust me and a whole lot of fun when you can look back and simply say, That's sooo cool
