Lloyd did the same with a few more hangars, but then narrowed his eyes.
"Clear my path; I'm going in."

OOC: He should head to Remnant HQ, then.

IC: Rose fired a spread of lasers to clear Lloyd's path.

Lloyd scowled, as more Mechs arrived to try and stop them. They failed, however, as each was sliced in half, even as Lloyd sped past them, arriving in the hangar bay he was infiltrating.

Automated turrets in the hangar began firing at him.

"So slow." Lloyd stated, as he dodged out of the way, fired off shots at the turrets, sliced a mech that was unfortunate enough to be there, and grabbed a second Beam Pistol to fire off at the turrets as well.

(Captain Forrist): "We seem to have an intruder. How amusing. Send in the guard droids, and fire another spread of missiles at the rebel base."

Iris looked up, as she finished taking out more of the shield generators, and then fired a volley of lasers at the missile turrets quickly.

Lloyd finished shooting, and then had his mech roll forward to avoid some last few laser blasts; then calmly stood up, and walked further into the base, as the room was left in ruins, turrets destroyed and sparking.

A mech shot out of the battle ship, and flew toward Jared, an energy blade extended from the mech's arm. As the mech approached, it sliced out toward Jared's mech quickly, aiming to either destroy the mech, with the pilot inside, disable the mech so it wouldn't be able to fight back, or simply outright kill the pilot. However, it was odd; it was a mech that was familiar, yet oddly not known...

OOC: Death is cheap. =P

Jared's mech flew backwards quickly.

"Requesting permission to see the Emperor." Light said, getting annoyed at the wait outside the emperor's room in the main base.

The person followed, as the mech fired off three shots in an effort to block off Jared's escape, even as the mech sped toward Jared once more.

Jared fired all his weapons at the enemy mech, dodging as he did so.

Rose landed her mech in the Kel-Aviron's hanger bay and followed Lloyd.

(Chargas): "Hiding? The time was not right. I wanted you to see the chaos you had unleashed by toppling my empire."

OOC: Err... Lloyd's in his mech. =P There's no way I'm having him go on foot, in his condition. =P

Unless... Is there like a mini-mech, effectively like a power suit, somewhere? Because Lloyd needs to be connected with a mech right at this moment, even if the aura from his power modes sealed his wounds. =P

Light walked in, and then saluted the Emperor.

This person was obviously skilled at fighting with a mech; as the pilot made the mech do a barrel roll to dodge the attacks, and fired off an energy blast straight toward Jared's cockpit.

OOC: You say I haven't been interfering enough. Time for me to fix that. >=D

OOC: Rose is still in her mech too. I guess I should have made that more clear.

IC: Kiriam Zel pushed Kora's body away with his foot, and nodded at Light.

As Jared dodged, a stuffed monkey hit the cockpit of the enemy mech.


(Shiza): "Does Jared need Shiza to help?"

The monkey did nothing to help, though, unfortunately, and a blast was simply sent at Shiza as well as one at Jared.

"Status report, sir... The enemies are stubborn. One even came back from the brink of death, just to damage my mech's power core. It is likely unwise to continue fighting. And to continue living." Light stated, as he pulled out a gun, and aimed two rapidly fired shots at Kiriam's torso, and two at his head; before aiming two at the ground... No matter what the 'Emperor' did, he was not going to do well.

[The Truth]

The shield generator in Kiriam Zel's throne blocked the shots. Kiriam laughed. "I like you. But I'm afraid I need to make an example of you."

The floor underneath Light vanished, dropping him towards a pit of molten lead.

Shiza's mech flew right through the blast.

(Jared): *dodging*: "How did you do that?!"

(Shiza): "I'm too crazy to know it's impossible!"

Light, however, was prepared to make a move the moment anything went 'wrong'. So, he jumped off from the floor the moment Kiriam was protected, and gripped another pistol, which he fired toward the throne's shield generator quickly, and then landed on the ground, shifting the pistol to a beam saber, even as he ran toward Kiriam once more.
"You are nothing but a traitor, and false Emperor." Light stated bluntly, as he slashed out toward Kiriam.

Unfortunately, this person wasn't any stranger to the impossible either, and as Shiza flew through the blast, the other mech stabbed out at her mech. And while she might be able to dodge energy blasts with a crazy clause; stabbing is a whole different matter.

[The Truth]

Kiriam ducked under Light's attack and pressed his own pistol to Light's neck. An instant later, his head came clean off as Kora's "corpse" stood, sparks shooting off of it, and punched him in the face.

A white light came from Shiza's mech, pressing the enemy mech back.

"Intriguing. Nice to know we have allies on both sides." Light said, as he stepped back, and panted, that near-death experience not being very kind.
"I am curious, though. When'd you become an android?" Light asked, but then paused, as his eyes widened behind his helmet.
"Of course! The SHIRA! Why didn't I consider that possibility? Good thinking." Light said with a nod, as he realized what had actually happened.

OOC: We use so many tropes here. Including one people wouldn't exactly expect with how I've been ICing recently. =P

The mech was only pushed back for a moment however, as it launched forward toward Shiza's mech once more, but not before it launched an attack at Jared.

OOC: To state something quickly... This mech is Sera's. HOWEVER... I'm not confirming or denying this person actually is Sera. Just that death is cheap.

The S.H.I.R.A nodded. "Correct. I thought someone would try to kill me if I came out in person, so I refitted the S.H.I.R.A to be my double."
