Space Wars: Regression

[Flipz]

Clive seals the rest of the pieces in a transport pod and attaches it to his belt.  Just then, a proximity alert went off.  "Spast!  Thoron, we've got company!"  He goes back-to-back with Thoron, materializing his arm cannon and pointing it in the opposite direction from the enchantress.

OOC: That's at you, Jade.

He concentrates, focusing on the memory of the military man back at the office who had been impervious to his laser blasts.  An invisible energy field surrounded Clive and, since he was so close, Thoron as well.

OOC:Clive now has a personal energy shield.  (Metroid Fusion upgrade theme plays.)

"lets just get out of here, fast. She froze his body to shatter it, these chunks are useless to us if they melt. Let's fall back.... and if we can blast someone on the way out all the better"

[Flipz]

"Right..."

Clive presses a button on his wrist.  About ten seconds later, his ship appears overhead and beams them both up.  The ship shoots across the sky, out of sight.

"Is that your ship in orbit there?"
Thoron: "Yes."
"Hang on.  I'll dock with it."  There is a small thump as the two ships link.  A moment later, Thoron inputs the coordinates, and the linked ships jump into hyperspace.

Little did they know that Misty Red had come along for the ride, disguised as part of Thoron's gear.

"alright, let's get these things into a stasis container. my boss is gonna be very interested to learn how he died.... of course i'll take all the credit. you've earned a couple bars of my payment, by the way. I'm looking forwards to working whit you again, if you'd like."

IC (Silent Storm): *Gets up, notices two shadows and laughs* "Heheheheh, the Silent Storms coming..."

Ray frowned, as the other person had disappeared into mist.
What was up with his armour? It seemed... Like a Cyber Human's. But his abilities seemed different than mine. Ray thought to himself; and then deactivated his armour, as the CD player stopped, and he frowned once more.
"Now... Where would the important people be?" Ray mused to himself with a sigh.

[Rakoua]

IC (Rakoua):
Rakoua teleported back to the TSS Wellington.

[Darth Rexus]

IC (Silent Storm):  *Looks to the left and sees a visual recorder, Silent Storm inspects it and sees there is one new records, he plays it*

IC (Rakoua):
On the bridge, Rakoua was contemplating something.
"Oh, I know! I'll destroy the planet!"

OOC: Err. You do realize there are still some people on the planet? =P

Now, a better question; theoretically, there'd be good space transport on this planet, correct?

[Rakoua]

OOC: You can get to my ship (all of the ships on the planet are pretty slow so you'd be pretty much stranded for a while).

IC (Rakoua):
"Fire the RBL!"

Ray had reactivated his armour for a little bit, and suddenly stopped, as he looked up at the ship with a surprised expression.
"They're going to fire?! With people still on the planet?!" Ray asked, incredulous, as he frowned, and then looked around.
There's gotta be something I can do...

OOC: Seeing as everything needs a charging time of like 5 minutes... =P

[Rakoua]

OOC: They can evacuate too.

IC (Rakoua):

"Blow it to pieces."

OOC: This is part of my universal domination plan.

OOC: When the planet's already destroyed? I guess there's flashbacks, but there was only a couple reasons that Ray realized their plan. =P

Ray transferred to a nearby ship bay, and ray into a nearby space craft; ignoring who owned it, as he merely phased through the door; a form of minor teleportation. Ray ran to the control room, and quickly tapped the keys, and performed some optimizations so that the ship could go faster; anything else he could do on any other nearby planet that wasn't about to be blown to fragments in the next five minutes. However, in the process of that, he accidentally opened the ship's door, allowing anyone who wanted to stow away to do so.

OOC: Allows Ray to get a new ship, too. =P This one'll likely be destroyed in the near future as well, so that a bigger ship can be obtained, but still. =P

[Rakoua]

IC (Rakoua):

The laser was still charging up.

Ray frowned; as he was still working at the coding to try and optimize the performance; but simply frowned, and focused, as he prepared to totally rewrite the coding quickly... With his mind.

OOC: Just give me two more posts, okay?

IC:

Skrief punched himself. Searching through his backpack, he found a one-way teleport 'card' which would explode after the teleport had finished. It was still better than walking around remains of a broken motorcycle. And then he teleported.

OOC:

I am going to leave it to someone else as to where he ends up.

IC (Rakoua):

The laser was still charging...

Ray smiled, as he finished his optimizations; and then closed the door to the space craft; which he had just noticed was open. Ray then nodded.
"Let's go." He said to himself; as he fired up the engines, and began to speed out of the hangar, and headed toward space quickly...
