Tomas narrowed his eyes, as he took note of that in his mind, and then searched through the cabinets for the ingredients that Wendy had noted.
Assuming nothing gets tampered with... Tomas thought with a mental grumble.
Of all the times For something like this to happen... Tomas thought, as he continued to keep an eye on Sally between scans of the shelves.

Tomas scanned the label, and nodded, however, looked over at Sally again, and narrowed his eyes.
If that's one of the necessary ingredients, then that's not going to be good. Tomas thought, as he inwardly wondered how he'd settle this, if it somehow came down to a fight.

Tomas nodded again, and located the final ingredient, and picked it up, as he passed them to Wendy.
"They're there." Tomas said, and then looked at Sally again, with narrowed eyes.

"What did you just take from that cabinet?" Tomas asked, deciding to just say it, though he did seem slightly curious over demanding.

Rod quickly takes the other taco that he had scooped up from beside Edward and put a piece of the shell in a beaker, and began adding ingredients to break it down.  "Hank's better at this, but...we need to be sure there wasn't anything besides cyanide in this.  Something to finish the job."  Rod remembers something, and sends a message to Hank via his laptop.  He then looks up how to identify poisons through chemical analysis online.

Wendy nods, then turns to the others.  "If you can find Hydroxocobalamin, it'll be easier, since I can administer it by itself and it'll bind with the cyanide both within the intravascular space and within the cells to combat cyanide intoxication.  Is that sodium thiosulfate?  Great!  That'll be the last step no matter what we use."

Hank's computer, which is on the desk next to Joshua, chimes about the incoming message.  Hank is busy organizing the evidence in his notebook and doesn't notice.

Tomas nodded, and searched through the shelves again, grabbed the Hydroxocobalimin, and then quickly handed it to Wendy, all the while waiting for Sally's answer.

OOC: Yeah, I tend to do that.  Very rarely is something not available that way.  (Glares angrily at the nonexistent list of materials in a Romulan starship's hull.)

"Thanks.  This'll be much safer for him, even though it's harder to come by."  She sets up a 5 mg IV, to be infused infused over 15 minutes.  "That should be the right amount of time.  I'll reset it again in 15 minutes, then we'll administer sodium thiosulfate."

Rod continues looking for any other toxins in the taco fragment.

Hank's computer chimes again.  He looks up, annoyed.  "Could you tell me what that thing says?  I'm trying to see if there's more than one set of prints here besides yours."

The taco also contained small traces of Taxane.

Hank stares at the screen in shock.  After several long, silent seconds, he recovers.  "Let's go.  We need to get to the chemistry lab."

IC: Joshua nodded and guided Hank to the Chem lab.

Tomas looked at Sally for a moment, but then took his attention away for one moment, as he looked back to Edward with a frown.

"We've got Taxane...looks like only a few miligrams of it though.  It'll keep him off his feet for a few days, but it's not enough to kill him.  Especially since he only got one bite in."  Good thing, too, he thought to himself, because Taxane has no cure. "Looks like someone's been reading Agatha Christie's A Pocketful of Rye."

Hank bursts into the room with Joshua.  "Alright, no one is leaving this room until I've got fingerprints from everyone here.  We've had five attempted murders on two separate victims in the past few days, and there's not going to be a fifth."

OOC: Someone tell him off for "playing Nancy Drew"; i.e. "stop playing Nancy Drew and get back to work" or something to that effect.

"I doubt that'll be truly necessary. Besides, I don't think we have time to play Nancy Drew." Tomas said with a slight shrug.

(Sally): "The question remains...who'd poison Rod's tacos? And how would they do it anyway?"

(Joshua): "They'd need to hack the food replicator..."

(Kitten):"You're the only hacker that's good enough to do that..."

(Joshua): "W-what? What are you suggesting? I don't even know Rod!"
