"I'll go see if I can calm her down."  He starts off after Sally.

"Yeah, I've been told that kinda. Thought I had been working on it. Apparently not." Tomas said with an awkward chuckle, ignoring Kaitlin for the moment.

Sally walked over to a wall, pressed a spot on the wall (which looked no different than the rest of the wall), and entered the secret passageway that was revealed.

Rod runs to the passageway, but the door closes before he can slip inside.  He quickly searches for the trigger, but fails to find it.  Rod looks at the door for several seconds, deep in thought.  Then he marks the spot on his map, then jots down a note and sticks it to the door:

Sorry about Tomas.  He's...not the most sensitive guy around.  For what it's worth, I don't think you're involved, but we might have to prove it to him.  If you want my help, just send me an email to my school address, or you could just find me sometime--I'm sure that'd be easy for you.  I'm pretty sure Wendy would be happy to help as well.  Anyway, hope I see you around!

"There we go," he said.  Whether she's involved or not, I need her on my side.  This seems as good a way as any--after all, Hank's doing the same thing with Joshua.

OOC: Actually, he's not, Hank actually believes 100% Joshua is a victim, but Rod doesn't know that.

OOC: Timeskip to when Rod gets the message?

OOC: Actually, I'm trying to decide if this is another murder attempt, and re-reading the rules to see if there's a PC-kill clause.

OOC: No killing PCs or NPCs without the permission of their creator.

[Flipz]

OOC: Yeah, but that still applies for NPCs killing PCs, right?  *Is sensing trap for Rod.*

OOC: The rule applies to me too.

Besides, if Sally is the culprit, she wouldn't be stupid enough to let everyone know about the meeting and then kill him.

OOC: OK, good.  I kinda need Rod, Hank, and Wendy alive for my other PCs to be intro'd.

Will do.  What time?  Midnight sound good?  Rod send the message to Sally, then emailed Wendy:

I'm going to do some exploring tonight.  If I don't show up in the Chemistry lab by 8:00 AM, I've stumbled into trouble.  If that happens, get yourself and Hank out.  Don't come looking for me, I don't want you getting caught in another cave-in while trying to save me.  Rod sent that message, then got ready for his meeting with Sally.

OOC: Everyone else is going to bed now, unless they decide to stay up for some reason.  My chars. are going to sleep.

OOC: So, timeskip to midnight?

Rod's alarm goes off, and he quickly swats it before the sound could travel to other rooms.  He grabs his pack and starts walking the hallways.  As if I was going to get any sleep anyway...waitaminute, was that a black widow??  No, it's the shadow of a leaf.  OK, man, next time Hank starts telling you about murder attempts right before bed, STOP LISTENING!  Even if it IS part of a case--what's that ticking noise?!?  Oh, the grandfather clock on the landing.  Man, that Alan Rosewater guy must have liked clocks.  There's a bunch of them around here.  Actually, if that clock matches the one on the map Wendy gave me, my meeting point with Sally should be...wait, is the air turning green?  POISON GAS!!!!  Rod holds his breath for two whole minutes before he realizes hes standing next to a stained glass window.  He lets his breath out slowly.  Man, I am getting pa-ra-noid.  Next thing you know, I'm gonna think that--  "AHH SOMETHING GRABBED ME!"  Just then, a hand clapped over Rod's mouth.

OOC: It's either Sally, or, if Blade gets on first, he could have it be Tomas.  Either way, he's about six feet from the spot on the map Sally indicated.

(Sally): "What is wrong with you? Do you want to wake the entire school?!"
