 Stutlus was just about to protest, when he heard that last bit. Then he just started laughing.

A bead of sweat ran down Trey's face, and he sighed, but then paused, and smiled mischievously.
"Why don't we prove that?" Trey asked, as he place his arm on a nearby table while awaiting Amy's answer.

OOC: You brought up arm wrestling.

 "Right." Amy said mischeviously. "This'll only take a sec." She sat down across from Trey, and placed her right arm on the table and grabbed his hand. "Stutlus, you're judge."

 "Alright." Stutlus walked a little closer. "Go."

Trey nodded, and aimed to send Amy's hand to the other side of the table.

OOC: Knowing his luck? It'll happen. Just not on the side he was hoping for. =P

 Amy slammed Trey's hand down on her side of the table. Stutlus could swear that he heard all of Trey's bones pop. And from the look on Trey's face, it might have been more than just popping.

Trey looked from Amy to the fact that she won instantly, a look of slight shock on his face.
Okay... While that would likely have been obvious to everyone else, was not expecting that.

 Amy released Trey's hand. "Don't worry. I didn't become Captain for nothing you know, it took a little more than brains to take the previous captain's place." She stood up. "Well, I have some appointments to attend to. You two should go to the sparring yard and fight each other for the rest of the day; try to keep it to just clashing blades and no dodging for now though."

 "Yes Striker Captain." He looked over at Trey. "Let's go!"

Trey nodded with a smile.
"Thank you, Striker Captain." Trey said, as he exited the tent.

 Stutlus coughed to hide a laugh.

"And what's that for?" Trey asked, as he had coughed to hide a laugh enough to know when a cough was fake.

 "Nothing, nothing." Stutlus looked ahead. "Hey, there's the sparring grounds. Let's go."

OOC: You want to try out Trey's power?

OOC: Can I? Also, which part, the normal barriers, or flinging a barrier encased knife? =P(He needs something to generate the barrier around for the barrier toss to work... Again, it's like the Shield Boomerang.)

Trey reached the sparring grounds, and looked around.
"Alright then; let's do this." Trey said with a nod.

OOC: Now, how would the need to protect show up in this fight? ... Hmm... Would the Ranger training have finished yet? =P

 "Right." Stutlus said, then drew both his weapons.

 One of the third year apprentices came up. "Practicing fighting, are we?"

OOC: You see now? =P

"Not practicing." Trey stated, as he drew his knives, and prepared for the fight, ignoring the bullies for the most part.

OOC: By the way; if I were the bullies, I'd duck. =P

Samantha spotted a bit of movement.  At first she thought it was just the wind.  Then she realized the other shadows were moving in the other direction, and this one was no longer moving at all.  Palming her dagger--just in case it wasn't who she thought it was--she casually walked out the entrance to the tent.  Suddenly, she whirled around behind Eli, being careful not to actually touch him--if his instincts were anything like her own, that could be a fatal mistake.  "Hello there," she said in a bit of a deadpan tone.

 Stutlus whirled around and drew both his cutlasses without going off balance. Hey, I'm getting better at this! "Why?"

 Eli smiled. This one would go far. "Hello Samantha." He turned around to look at her. "You did very well just then."

 The first bully laughed, and rolled his shoulders. "How about you put down those swords and practice with us." A second guy walked up and grinned evily, holding a rather wicked whip.
