Skye made a "D:" face, and took some of the sand from her pouch and threw it in the air. "You can't just stop moving, not here, not now!"

However, no mater what Skye did, the sand simply fell to the ground.

Skye was almost to the point of tear now. "Why was I brought all the way out here? Theres nothing but sand for miles!"

A sand cloud blew by, and was split by the wind at a certain point, and scattered throughout the desert once more.

"Vaguely, why?" Sakeo asked, a little impatient at this moment for obvious reasons.

The sand led further into the desert, but even the native sand particles seemed to be blowing in the same direction.

 M'raize lowered his fists. "When I first saw him, I thought that he looked familiar. Since I dissapeared, I found out why. I'd seen him before, a long time ago. We were friends." M'raize sighed. "Though now, I don't know what to do. He is a chosen one, yet he has abandoned us. He would not go so far as to become a Hunter, yet... He needs to be put down. There are more details, but your sister is first, of course." M'raize allowed himself a grin. "Maybe we'll find him along the way..."

OOC: You did an IC with the environment? =P

Marik smashed the hammer into the katana one the anvil a final time, and gave a wicked grin. He held out the freshly forged blade, and channeled his ki through it, tinging the metal green. He then whirled around and sliced straight through the heavy steel anvil. He pulled out his bulky smartphone, activated an app, and his ki armor flashed into existence around him. Closing his eyes, he blinked out of existence.

Marik opened his eyes on the roof of a building, and saw a patrol of three Chaos Hunters on the ground beneath him. He dropped to the ground, impaling one of them onto his sword. As the other two spun around, Marik swiftly decapitated the one on the right, and kicked the one on the left in the groin. As the final hunter reacted, Marik snapped his neck. "that was fun" he chuckled under his breath.

OOC: bad-*** vigilante chosen on is now back in the game

OOC: This is L.A., for the record.  It's not going to make a lot of sense, but it'll (hopefully) get clearer in time.

IC:
Aki walked out of the stage door, dazed.  A fight raged on inside, but he had no clue why, or who was fighting who.  All he knew was that his side--the ones whose clothes he wore--were losing. So when he found the door in the desert, he took it.

The door lead to a filthy back alley in a large city.  Judging by the shadows, it was late evening.  It was quiet enough, so he took stock of what he knew.

Nothing.

"Well, that didn't take long," he muttered aloud.

"It sure didn't," a voice said.  Aki gasped, and readied the only weapons he had--a whip, and a shortsword with a weird pattern on it.

Too bad he had no clue how to use them.  Before Aki could react, the stranger had clubbed him in the head with something--the shadows were too deep to make out details--and he went sprawling.  He scrambled a few feet back, and instinctively cried out for help.

OOC: To whoever controls the Chaos Hunter: Please read the profile (particularly the personality bit) and taunt Aki enough to get things in motion that way.  Thanks!

IC: Marik whirled around, and saw a stranger in a bizarre outfit. "wha?" Marik suddenly realized he must look pretty suspicious, holding a bloody sword and standing over three corpses. "aw carp" he said, turning to face the newcomer. "what the heck sorta getup is that?"

 Matt dropped down off the same building roof, right behind Marik. "A good one, I would guess." He said manevolently, wearing a wicked grin. And carrying a rather hard looking staff with a blade at the end.

OOC: I figured I could send Matt along with you two while M'raize is hunting him down, possibly with Sakeo. =P Depends on Blade's post.

"who're you?" Marik said, charging more ki through his sword so it burst into green flame.

OOC: Quick question, is Matt a CH or a CO?

Skye followed after the sand again, seeing as how she was completely lost anyways, and had never mastered teleporting. "Please lead me somewhere."

OOC: no clue. treat his as a bad guy for now? he certainly seems threatening.

IC:

Aki had no clue who either guy was, but he was sure at least one of them had attacked him.  Instinctively whirling his whip around his head, he lashed out at the stranger (OOC: Matt), forcing him to leap back.  Meanwhile, he sliced forward with his shortsword, forcing the other one (OOC: Marik) to drop back into a more defensive stance.  "I don't know who anyone here is, but you're not gonna attack me again!"  Aki slowly began to back away from both individuals, whirling his whip menacingly...

Marik gave a telekinetic shove and threw the whip-wielding stranger into a brick wall.

Aki nearly passed out from the impact, but at least he had gotten farther from the madman.  He turned and fled down the street, and jumped onto the nearest red bus.  The driver started to yell at him, but the crazed look in Aki's eyes and the sword he was carrying quickly convinced him not to get involved.  The bus traveled for several miles along its route, and Aki got off at a random stop.  He saw a grassy field bordered by white picket, and decided this place might be remote enough to lose whoever was trying to kill him.

Marik glared at the stranger (matt) and teleported away, following the weirdly dressed nut. ()

He appeared in the pristine field right behind him. "are we on a golf course? who are you dude? and honestly, what is WITH that outfit?"

[Flipz]

Aki jumped back.  "What do you want with me?!?!"  He ran through the field towards a small hill with trees on it, hoping he could find cover.

OOC: It's official.  Playing an amnesiac is awesome.

Marik materialized behind Aki. "Boo" Aki paled. "I just want some answers outta you."

Aki swallowed.  "Answers?  I don't have any answers.  I don't even know who I am or anything."  Aki walks down the hill, through a park full of weird, Wild West-themed life-sized statues, to a road leading up a much larger hill.  He keeps walking, now along the road, and looks back to se Marik still following.  "I don't know if you noticed, but someone tried to kill me back there.  I'm not gonna stick around in any place they can find me."  He breaks into a full run, though since he's going uphill, he's not too fast.
