OOC: I.E. InAki doesn't know IC that Terakou has been retaken.  Also, remember that Aki looks really, really bad, like he's seriously injured.

As soon as everyone is back at base, Aki gestures for Kai to come closer to him and Brooke.  "Let's chat, there are some things that need to be explained privately."

Kazuki blinked, as he looked up from the paper, sitting in his office, as everyone who was in that one group showed up.
"Yes, how can I help you?"

InAki bows respectfully to Kazuki.  "Your pardon, sir, but Kai and I need to speak alone for a moment."

InAki pulls Kai aside, as well as Brooke, taking them to a nearby storage closet--strangely, one in the exact same place that Skye had accidentally locked herself months earlier, after Sakeo had nearly destroyed the building with his exploding fruit.  "Listen--I--" InAki winced for effect "the Hunters caught me.  They--they tried to interrogate me.  They made Brooke do it."  InAki panted, as if his wounds were seriously draining him.  "She wasn't--isn't--comfortable with that degree of brutality, but....well, let's just say she isn't entirely comfortable with us, either."  InAki glances to Brooke.  "I'm going to leave her in your care; maybe you can get through to her in ways I couldn't."  InAki limps out of the closet, shutting it behind him, and returns to Kazuki's office with the others, "healing" himself slowly as he stepped into the room.

Kai frowned, but looked at Brooke.
"Don't touch anything." Kai stated, as he opened the closet, and walked out as well, leaving Brooke confused, and unsure of what had just happened.

Skye walked over and gently put her hand on InAki's shoulder. "You ok? You look like you took on a whole squad of Hunters."

"Hey sis, whatcha doing? And why do you look like you've seen a ghost?"

Skye walked over and gently put her hand on InAki's shoulder. "You ok? You look like you took on a whole squad of Hunters."

InAki winces convincingly.  "Yeah.  That I did."  InAki channels more Ki energy, and reduces the extent of the illusive injuries a bit more.  "It's slow healing, but I should be ready for action within the day."  InAki squirms slightly.  "Um...Aki is...confused?  surprised?  by your concern.  He, uh..."  InAki frowns.  "I don't really know how to describe the emotion.  It's all mixed together...like my elements."  InAki resists the urge to demonstrate, knowing it would give him away instantly.

Kaze frowned, as he walked through the school, taking what seemed like forever, before he entered the training room where Shinji currently was.
"You wanted to train me?" Kaze asked, not sure what was up. Shinji nodded in response, as he held a katana in his hand.
"Yes. Currently, I hear you fight for your friends, wary about innocents and others. However, that won't do at all, not against the Hunters. You need to embrace your rage; the only thing that can guarantee a win." Shinji explained, and Kaze frowned.
"'Embrace my rage'? But, I don't fight because I want to..." Kaze said, as Shinji rolled his eyes.
"That's the problem. The reason this war hasn't been won yet, is because you hold back. You have potential, but it needs to be released; and your peaceful nature is the restraint. So fight me. Fight me until you hate me, and then use that to fuel your attacks." Shinji said with a smirk, as Kaze sighed.
"I'm not going to fight all-out." Kaze stated, but dashed toward Shinji, slashing out with an easily-deflected attack. That continued on, until Shinji kicked Kaze across the room, the walls nearly cracking from the force.
"That's just pathetic. You couldn't even land a single hit. Maybe that time being dead dulled your skills. Or maybe everyone in the Hunters is just even worse than you always have been." Shinji taunted, as he walked out of the room with a scowl.
This might take longer than I anticipated.

"Don't be" SKye gave InAki a small smile. "I just wanted to make sure you were ok, see if you needed any help healing."

OOC: No IC yet, I can't post in the discussion topic, and I recalled I was gonna post something with that yesterday...

I decided to make the Terakou Tower on my existing Survival World. ... I don't know what I was thinking making it in the first place. =P I just realized exactly how huge this place is. xD No clue how I'll handle the fact that there's a tundra directly to the south of the building, however. >>'

InAki smiles, but draws his arm back slightly.  "I think I'll be all right, I think time will be the best healer of this hurt."  It seems to Skye, for a moment, that there was an additonal meaning meant only for her, but InAki turns his attention back to Kazuki before she can think anything of it.

"So; is there anything important I should know?  I wasn't gone long, but..."  InAki glances back, in the general direction of Brooke.  "...a lot can happen in a short time.  Especially to us, it seems."

OOC: I honestly have no idea how to move forward; Blade's 24-hour in-universe thing pretty much killed my idea of an extended Burn Notice/Alias parody, I can't come up with a workable plan for the life of me.

InAki noticed that Sonia was still with them.  He stares distrustingly at her, then says, "Sorry, I'm a bit confused.  Why exactly have we let a Chaos Guardian into the middle of our base?"  Before she can speak, he sends her a short warning glance with his eyes, all but saying to her 'don't say a word.'

"Back off." Kaze stated, a frown on his face, as he walked onto the scene.
"She was forced to become a Chaos Guardian, in case you forgot. She's on our side." Kaze said, as he raised an eyebrow, as if to challenge Aki.

Shinji watched the scene with intrigue from a distance.
So; he'll protect a former enemy, just on the grounds of being friends before? Or... Oh; this will work out perfectly. Shinji thought with a malicious smile, as he turned away from the scene, and walked away, leaving himself to work out the rest of his plan.

InAki frowns.  "We shall see.  Remember, Hikari, that discretion is the better part of valor."  He looks distrustfully towards Sonia, and then back to the others present.  He sees Kai walk back in, and a plan comes to mind.  "If you'll excuse the two of us for a moment, I think our newest ally and I can determine the truth of the matter."  InAki gestures toward the door for Sonia to go first.

Sonia frowned with a nod, not entirely certain what was going on, but followed quietly. Kaze frowned, as something seemed odd with Aki, but shook it off, as he turned and walked away, thinking of what to do then. However; as he was thinking of what to do, everyone's Tracers started to beep, with an update form Kazuki to meet in the Auditorium.

Skye sighed. "So much for having a break..."
