IC: Aki "accidentally" trips the Chaos Guardian with his whip. He then spots a door into the building on his right. Grabbing his two allies, he dives through the door just in time to avoid the three of them becoming pancakes. He slumps against a computer desk, panting, and looks around. "Looks like this must be a library. I wonder how I knew that? Anyway, while we're here, maybe I can look for books about Ki...so I can figure out what just happened." He heads to the cage where most of the books are kept, tears off the lock with Ki, and heads downstairs to the lowest level, where the nonfiction is kept.
OOC: Picture a 15x20 room with tightly-packed bookshelves, and a tiny, winding staircase to the lower level which is almost exactly like the first. That's where Aki is. The rest of you are still in the main area. The main area is nice and open, but that's mostly encyclopedias, computer workstations, and study areas, with a big staircase leading to the lower level hallway that opens to the Mall. If you take the hallway back into the building on the lower level, you'll find a teacher's lounge, a tech repair area (with totally outdated equipment), and a few offices. Oh, and the whole thing was built in the late 70's, so the carpet is old, the ceiling tiles are dingy, and everything (besides the computers) is really showing its age. (That's why the map shows the new library in progress of being built.)
