Alexa sighed, and grabbed a side project she had been working on. she hefted an interesting looking gun - in fact the only one alexa had brought - and popped the hood of the car, plugged it into the car battery, and fired the tesla gun at the robot.


OOC: if you haven't heard about tesla guns, you haven't been reading the interesting parts of the internet lately. a powertool's 18V battery will give you a pretty decent shock, so i imagine a car battery will hurt pretty bad, and fry some electronics

and no, i didn't pick this out of nowhere, this is something ive been wanting to use for a long time

The only thing that saved Caan from getting zapped at that moment, was Omega's flying kick, which had knocked it over right as the shot passed by. However, it took notice, and swiveled around, as it fired one of those lasers at Alexa quickly.

Alexa saw the robot was about to fire and ducked, but the laser still singed her hair.

Carter and his men had seen enough.  "OPEN FIRE!"

Carter and his two ten-man squads, as well as two handlers from the containment team, began shooting at Caan.

Daniel aimed his M4 at Caan, and then, fired. He hoped it at least weakened the robot a bit.

Some portions of Caan's armour was dented, however, on the whole, the robot suit held up fairly well, as Caan swiveled, and fired at some of the redshirts people in the squad, aiming to send a burning hole right through their chests.
"Cease and desist... CEASE AND DESIST!!" Caan screeched, obviously insane enough to order them to surrender to him.

As the robot was turned away from her, alexa ran forwards and fired the tesla gun at Caan, at point-blank range.

OOC: singed circuitry anyone?

From half a mile away, X-2 aimed his sniper rifle at the robot...and fired.

"This is coming out of your pay, Ms. Illia."

However, Caan found that these were more than just redshirts, as they dropped to the ground and kept firing, avoiding the laser entirely.

Alexa somehow managed to miss once more; as Caan advanced on the 'redshirts', the bullets more or less just ricocheting off of him, even as he fired off more lasers at the troops, aiming to kill at least one of them.

OOC: Is everyone ignoring the fact that X-2 sniped Caan?

OOC: It would have, but I don't really want Caan killed two pages in. =P Unless you have a reason why the electricity wouldn't go through the metal armour, hit the water, and turn the poor Symbiote into calamari. =P

Truth: Nah, but bullets haven't had the biggest impact on Caan...

If everyone wishes to actually do damage, then go ahead and hit him all at once again next attack, I won't avoid any damage, even if the poor character will become fried Symbiote quickly. xD

OOC:

Well, Caan is a homicidal symbiote in a sufficiently armoured robot, so... He probably can't be stopped easily. In fact, I would suggest that Caan go on to 'overwork' mode or something and shoot everywhere rapidly.

IC:

Daniel ran to General Carter, and stood by his side.

"I didn't see this coming. Does it seem odd that this thing happened to meet us, out of all the people it could happen to, especially after what we've already been through? We should co-ordinate an attack."

Illia leaned over to Alexa. "Why is this robot trying to kill us?"

X-2 loaded in a new type of bullet - electrified and explosive.

OOC: I don't think that kind of bullet exists yet, but they do have Mario-style bouncing fireballs.

IC: Alexa hit the robot with the tesla gun again. "looks like its just going crazy" she muttered.

OOC: i do want Kaaaaaaahn Caan to live, but we're all too awesome for him not to get beat up pretty good right about now

/EDIT: I'm sorry, I understand it has a mainstream definition, it's more the implication of the curse, which is why I changed it to a synonym. Again, I'm sorry about having to change that. =/ -- Blade

Caan spun around, pretty much confirming Alexa's comments, as he tried to kill everyone with it's high-powered lasers.
"EX-TER-MIN-ATE! EX-TER-MIN-ATE! All rise to the glory of the DA-LEKS!"
