I just finished training a Scyther on Diamond.

Ev trained for Attack(349).

Moveset:
Wing Attack
X-Scissor
Night Slash
Swords Dance

Now when I evolve it into a Scizor should I replace one of the moves with Iron Head?  If so which one?

If your Scyther's ability is technician I would go with Bullet Punch instead of Iron Head. I think I'd trash Wing Attack for the steel move. Also, Roost may be a good move to teach before evolving, so that if you're using a Life Orb as your Scisor's item you could recover. If you're using a different item, then you don't need Roost. Also, if you're using a choice item you may consider Bullet Punch over Iron head for it's speed, and it's gain in power thanks to the choice item. However, if you're using the Choice item that ups speed, go with Iron Head...

My team now has 4 pkmn at lv 98...

one thing I'd like to know about HG/SS is this: will the Crystal-only places, such as the Dragon Shrine, be there?
and in G/S/C, they've only just discovered Pokemon eggs, while eggs are old news in D/P/P.

2. First of all, R/G/B/Y/Fr/Lg happen three years before G/S/C/Hg/Ss Second, maybe they were discovered earlier in the Sevii Islands? Since that's the only place you could get them. And either way, it's gameplay updates to match the rest of the games, so...

2: but wouldn't the Sevii islands have told their nearby continents about their discovery?

1. Because it's after the discovery in Johto. Remember the guy in Hearthome that gives you the Happiny egg? He talks about how Elm talked about eggs if I'm not mistaken, so by that time, people know about Pokemon eggs. Though, the Day Care man still acts shocked every time you get an egg =P

2. Maybe they knew about it for years and didn't think it was a discovery? *Shrugs*

yeah. probably adding Scisor to it, although that one's done training. Probably gonna train a Crobat and one other pkmn. I'm trying to limit it to GSC only pkmn(none that came after that.)

Will you be including evolutions introduced, or evolutions of G/S/C baby Pokemon, like Electabuzz or Electivire or such?

I'm probably gonna limit my team to pkmn that were available when GSC came out. That means no Electivire, but if you could evolve Elekid into Electabuzz then he'd be included...

So my team would be:
Typhlosion
Murkrow(post E4 becomes Honchcrow)
Ursaring
Scisor
Crobat
Tyranitar/Misdreavus(post E4 becomes Mismagius)


BTW, this is in my Plat. In SS I'm gonna start with one of the other two since I have the Typhlosion line already...)
and I'm guessing that Superluck is better than Insomnia for Murkrow's ability?
And I've never trained an Ursaring, Crobat, Misdreavus before, and I only just started training a Murkrow.
