@Flipz: Modest w/ synchronize Ralts allows you a higher chance to catch modest pokemon- specifically a Modest Kyogre (although this doesn't really matter too much since you can't battle against other people and Kyogre isn't legal in the Battle Frontier...
I'm currentl replaying HGSS. I never realized how good Slowbro actually is until this playthrough. My E4 team was Typhlosion, Slowbro and Ampharos, as well as Ho-oh that I finally caught an Adamant version of.
Next up, catch a Slopoke and trade to get Slowking. Same with Seadra for Kingdra.
And yes, the Battle Subway is annoying. and filled with hax.

...yeah. the battle tower/subway is probably the most unoriginal battling test in pokemon. If only they used different facilities instead of a straightforwards battle 7 trainers and win...
I remember the first time I played the battle tower in crystal and got haxed by a blissey I think... ever since then its been bad news..
