well, I am battling Cyrus in the Distortion World now, so I guess that will have to wait-especially as I haven't dug up a single heart scale yet. next to fossils and plates, heart scales are the rarest items in the Underground!

Hmm...I don't really think so.  I think that at least Pale Spheres are harder to come by.  I've found dozens and dozens of Heart Scales in the Underground on my Diamond version. :-\

Prism spheres are hard to come by in my Pearl version... But Heart Scales, I have.

I know! I keep tellling myself i will stop,but i never do! I have gotten 3 red lights in the past four days.

Also,you can get heart scales from the guy in Solacean town who runs the newspaper. Bring him a Pokemon he wants every day and he will give you a heart scale and three of a type of Poke ball. I would help him a lot,my friend once got 3 MASTER BALLS from him.

Just FYI,if you can't find him,he is right next to the Pokemon Center.

if your friend DID get three master balls, it was from the lottery or a cloning glitch, not that man.

Rapidash is gonna get way stronger because of Snowpoint gym that I'm heading for right now, and then I'll use Empoleon and Luxray to wipe the floor on Team G. Leafeon will be focused on at gym numero 8, and then I'll go train at Iron Island/Fuego Ironworks/Victory Road or randomly if I need to before the E4. I'll add Giratina to my team just so that I have a 5th pkmn for the E4.

BTW, how is Giratina pronounced, namely the G? Is the G like in Game or like in Generation?

@RP: Giratinas name is pronounced Gear-Uh-Teena, according to the movie Giratina and the Sky Warrior.
@anyone: I am about to take on the Elite Four in Plat, any tips?

@herochild:  I've known about those for awhile, considering I put them on my Diamond version.  However, the site closed down for awhile the last time I saw it, which was last June, so it's nice to know that it's back up.   Thanks for providing that for others.

I am really bad at manipulating EVs.

Well, if you needed me to, I could teach you how to understand and control EVs.   It actually isn't as complicated as it seems.  Of all of the factors to make the perfect Pokemon, not only is it the biggest and most important, but it's also the least time consuming, if youIn fact, I've only been as understanding about the metagame as I am since last June.  Before that point, I understood just as much about it as you do.   It just takes a little bit of practice, and you'll have it down in no time.

I have a Milotic with 31 IVs in Sp. Attack. Can anyone give me tips for a moveset like this:

~Surf
~Ice Beam
~Mirror Coat
~Recover
4 HP/252 Def/252 Sp. Attack

Also, can anyone answer these questions:
 - Is Milotic a good Pokemon for competitive battling?
 - What are its pros and cons?
 - If my EVs are inefficient, what is a good EV spread for my Milotic?
 - If my prototype moveset is insufficient, what is a good moveset for my Milotic?
 - What tier is Milotic in?

Well, I'm working on the last evolutions of the three starters ATM. I'm also working on getting a Pichu up to speed with them, along with gtting it evolved into Pikachu. Although I'm going to hold off on turning it into Raichu until I get it leveled up.

In other words, I have the following types covered:

Grass
Ground
Fire
Fighting
Water
Steel
Electric

Other than that, I'm dragging two HM slaves, both of which I would gladly trade for team members. =P

Unfortunately, I migrated my Feebas from Emerald with high quality Pokeblocks that I can only get from the Pokeblock Master, so I'll have to go with another move that does not involve breeding.  :-\

Okay, Leafeon kinda fell behind during the Snowpoint gym and the Galactic fight, so its now only lv 43, while Empoleon and Rapidash are lv 47, and Luxray is lv 48. I have Giratina, but it is currently in Other Forme, which I dislike. That means I have room for two other pkmn to sub in. I'm not sure what to use, although I think Rhydon/Rhyperior would work well, seeing as how it would add tw more types to my arsenal.

And where do I find the item to evolve Electabuzz? I got the Magmarised, Reaper Cloth, and both Porygon upgrades but I'm missing the electric thingy.

The 8th gym is currently really annoying, but that probably has something to do with my team's lacking in ability to fight off electric moves...

just get a single rock type move-it'll KO them. or, just use rock smash, though it isn't that great.

@herochild and @DB:  Not to mention that Rock Smash is a completely different type all together, being that of the Fighting-type.

yeah, but I beat the entire gym using only Rock Smash.
oh, and Dudebot? both Rock and Ground type moves beat Electric.
