Anyone here read Maximum Ride?
I'm reading through the first book now. A friend recommended it like a year ago, and I only just remembered I was supposed to be looking for the books that were recommended, after not having any luck finding them at first. xD |

Currently reading through Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged... it is really long (over 1000 pages, with each page filled with small font words)... It's kinda interesting, but a long read that gives you a lot to think about, apparently. My librarian at school gave me an extended loan of the book because she said I was doing some serious reading...

I've read the first book about, maybe, 4 times? At least twice, since I re-read it when I got the three pack when Brisingr came out. They're very good books, I must say. Long, though; which made me pause in my third read-through of the first book. =P

Atlas Shrugged is a great read.
It's pretty good so far, although it's reeeaallly long, which makes it hard to read, especially when it takes me 1-2 minutes to read a page... Actually, who hasn't read Eragon that's a teenager? =P
I tried to read Eragon but couldn't get through it. It's not really my style of book. Maybe if I'd picked it up earlier I would have read it, but when I did try it out it wasn't good for me. |
